Great Goddess, Divine Mother,

Be with these parents in their time of sorrow

Ease the pain that their hearts now feel

And soothe their battered spirits

Bless their nights with sleep that no longer comes easy

So they might cope with the long days ahead of them

Enfold them in your loving and compassionate arms

Though it be difficult, let them start to learn to live

with the loss of their beloved children

Help them to move forward with life
