SPELL TO HEAL PHYSICAL PAIN

SPELL TO HEAL PHYSICAL PAIN

YOU NEED: piece of amethyst (as clear as possible), or a piece of Fluorite.
Sit in a quiet place and clear your mind of everything you can.
Take the amethyst (or fluorite)and hold it in the hand that is closest to the hurt.
If the pain is in the center of the body hold it in your writing hand.
Imagine a soothing light collecting at your feet and draw it up slowly towards your
head filling every part of the body. Whilst doing this say silently:
“bright light, shining light
heal my hurts with all thy might.”
Repeat this as you move the light up through the body.
When you reach the top of your head expand to fill outside the head with light for about a foot.
Then return to where the pain is most concentrated, push all your healing energy into this area.
If this doesn’t work the first time then repeat. You should feel better soon.
To end the spell repeat the verse again but finish with “so mote it be”

DEALING WITH PSYCHIC ATTACK

DEALING WITH PSYCHIC ATTACK
Zhahai Stewart

What to do if you think you are being attacked.

1 – Question if it is really either imagination, or coming from within yourself.
Something may be trying to get your attention, but it may not be external, and
by focusing on an external “enemy” you may be missing the point.

2 – Check to see if you are yourself inadvertently sending something out; maybe
someone is just reflecting some energy back!  Nothing is gained if you get into
adversarial mode in that case.  Many people have been taught that reflecting is
the proper response.

3 – Put up a grounding shield.  Ground it out, send it to the Mothr who can
recycle the energy.  Grounding is usually taught to every student. If you don’t
feel you can be a “conduit” safely, ground it by reflecting it downward to the
Earth; that is a big target and easy to hit.  By grounding it out, you are
protecting yourself, yet not being caught up in it.

What not to do.

1 – Figure out who is sending it and counter attack.  You might be wrong, and
may be starting a feud.  You might be right, but they may not realize that they
are “sending” so you may start a feud or cause unnecessary harm. Even if you are
right, you are escalating a feud, of which we have too many. This is commonly
discussed as a bad idea.

2 – Put up a reflective shield which will return the energy to the sender. This
is commonly discussed as a good idea, but we disagree.  We think this is unwise.

For one thing, it is not necessary; if you can make an accurate return
reflection, you can certainly reflect it to Earth instead (where it can be
recycled).  There is no reason you should not be able to ground out more energy
than you can accurately reflect to the sender, if viewed properly.

For another, your accuracy in returning it may be less than perfect.  You might
hit close but not close enough; if you can’t reflect it to earth, you are going
to have trouble reflecting it to an unknown person.

Sometimes this is discussed as if once you return it, the sender will just stop;
because they will awaken to what they are doing, or because the returning energy
will be too much to handle. The thing which is seldom mentioned is that if the
sender (assuming there is one) was consciously attacking, they will likely
already be prepared with their own mirrors, etc. Great, if we put near perfect
mirrors at each end and pump in energy, maybe we can get a psychic laser effect;
guess who is just on the other side of the mirrors to catch the intensified
leakthru?

If they weren’t aware of sending, they will probably just assume they are being
attacked and take countermeasures.  If they follow the 3 steps above, fine,
nothing is damaged.  But many of them will immediately think they have to put up
a defensive mirror, or maybe worse (see below; they may decide to teach you a
lesson for attacking them).  Few people naturally respond to perceived attacks
positively (especially if they are in such a bad mood already as to be sending
without even realizing it).

Another serious concern is getting drawn into a unacknowledged feud by your own
weaknesses.  It is often agreed that one should reflect back exactly what is
received, without adding anything of one’s own.  But the same people who
advocate that may use terms implying “returning it with enthusiasm”. There
appears to be an easily tapped source of self-righteousness in most people
feeling attacked, and it is _very hard_ not to get drawn into imagining, at some
level, the satisfying effects of the energy going back to the attacker; that
draws one into a “counter-attack” even without realizing it. Grounding it does
not.

Watch for yourself when people are discussing “returning to sender”; see if
there isn’t very often a hidden desire for revenge or retribution lurking there
grasping for their “control panel” – and deflecting their normal attempts at
staying centered by claiming to do no more than is “justified”. Justified is not
the question; self knowledge and balance are.

There is another thread which shows up often in discussions like these; the need
to “teach the sender a lesson”. In some cases, I have even heard this justified
as “protecting the community”. This way lies many³ ª ðÉü±PRINT D did the goddess
give you an “agent of threefold return” marshall’s badge, that exempts you from
any consequences “because you are just an agent”?  That hubris is gonna teach
some hard lessons, but the self appointed marshall may be the major recipient.
It would be a little bit healthier to just shed the self-righteousness and call
it an ego driven feud.  “Teaching them a lesson” gets filed under the pitfalls
of righteousness, the ways that one’s own weaknesses seduce one.

Also consider, what if despite your initial impression, the negative energy is
really coming from inside, from part of you? Are you going to be better off
“reflecting it back” (maybe with additional conscious or unconscious oomph) or
grounding it?  “Gee, I returned it but good, and now they have stepped it up;
the sender really needs a lesson!”.  That may be more true than you know, bucko.

Notice that nowhere do we say that one has no “right” to put up a reflective
shield; of course one does, and is fully justified.  Also, possibly, unwise.
There is a distinction between what one has a “right” to do in “self defense”,
and what is wise to get drawn into.  Reflecting it is neither necessary, nor
likely to produce positive results, but if _that itself_ is the lesson to be
learned, what can I say?  Each chooses their own path, and that is as it should
be.  At least if one has considered the above, one should know what they are
stepping into.

CIRCLE OF FIRE – PROTECTION

CIRCLE OF FIRE – PROTECTION

Have you ever been momentarily overwhelmed by a
feeling of hopelessness? Heed the warning and look
to your enemies. A strong possibility exists that
you have been ill-wished, “overlooked” as the
elders would say. Witches are commonly blamed for
casting evil spells, but in truth very few indeed
care to risk a Three-Fold Return. This conviction
that a curse sent forth will return thrice to haunt
you is a doctrine bred in the bone and one as old
as the craft itself.

Keep in mind that psychic attack is often the work
of an amateur with latent power enlivened by envy
or rage. Hate is a strong motivation and a sharp
weapon. However, a malevolent thrust from the mind
of a novice is over in a flash. An untrained will
cannot sustain the proper degree of concentration
needed to do real harm. Nonetheless, it is only
wise to identify the perpetrator and protect
yourself from further negativity.

Visit the ocean (or any free-flowing body of water)
to fortify confidence with an ancient Irish pagan
prayer.

I bind to myself this day
     The swiftness of the wind,
     The power of the sea,
     The hardness of the rocks,
     The endurance of the earth.

Cense the air of your home to purify the space and
comfort the spirit under siege. Frankincense and
myrrh are incenses notable for driving away the
forces of evil intent.

Of all the earth’s herbal gifts, none affords more
effective protection than rue, the “herb of grace”.
Hang a fresh bunch over your doorway and carry a
dried sprig to shield against harm from the ill-
wisher.

One of the simplest means to defeat psychic attack
is the Circle of Fire.

In privacy and complete darkness, light a candle.
Take a deep breath and stand as tall as you can.
Face east and raise the candle high above your head
for a moment. Bring the flame down to eye-level and
hold it there while you turn slowly deosil three
times. Concentrate your full attention on the blue
of the flame as you rotate in place. Raising the
candle high again, salute the east as you complete
the final circle. This erects a barrier through
which no evil thought can pass.

House Blessing

House Blessing

You will need – A crystal, white candle, incense, rosemary, salt, bell, protection oil.

Hold the crystal between your hands and imagine your home to be a happy and joyous place.
Place the crystal in the area that you deem to be the `heart` of the house – this could be the front room, kitchen etc.

Light the candle and walk through each room in a clockwise motion; allow the candle to throw light into every area, including the corners.

Light the incense, and place on a dish – carry this with you into each room.

Enter each room with the bell and, in a clockwise motion, move through ringing the bell.

Mix the salt with some water and sprinkle the solution through each room, again in a clockwise motion.

Finally, anoint each door, window and other points where energy enters the house – this includes any modems and telephone points. If desired, you could use the oil to mark a protective symbol (such as a pentacle) in these areas.

**Please take care not to burn yourself with the candle or incense**

If you are experiencing a haunting, or an unwelcome entity then smoulder the rosemary.

Blessing – Steam Based Incense

Blessing – Steam Based Incense

1 – Gently warm Rose Water, add 1 tsp of sugar until it is dissolved.
2 – Add some or all of the following herbs: Rose, Sandalwood, Black Tea Leaves, Essential oll of Rose; Jasmine and Sandalwood.
3 – Simmer gently until the steam rises, use the steam to bless and cleanse.

Bell Blessing

Bell Blessing

You will need:

– Salt
– Rosemary Incense
– Bowl of Water
– White Candle
– Your Bell

Sit at your working space with your bell in front of you. Make yourself comfortable, and take a few deep breaths to relax and focus yourself.

Sprinkle salt around the bell and say:
“Element of Earth, cleanse and purify this tool, keep its tone healthy and strong”

Next pass the bell through the incense smoke and say:
“Element of Air, cleanse and purify this tool, may its clarity be heard throughout the ether.”

Pass the bell over the candle flame and say:
“Element of Fire, cleanse and purify this tool, may it bring bright energies and drive out the dark.”

Sprinkle water on the bell and say:
“Element of Water, cleanse and purify this tool, that it may aid me in my tasks and keep me focused.”

Place your hands either side of the bell and visualise light energy coming out of your palms and passing into the bell, say:

“I consecrate this bell in love and in trust,
In peace and in wisdom,
I bless this tool of my craft,
So mote it be.”

SPELL TO BANISH NEGATIVE THOUGHTS

SPELL TO BANISH NEGATIVE THOUGHTS

Draw a picture of yourself with the negative thoughts affecting you
(could be a black cloud, or your own interpretation of how they are affecting you).
Charge a red candle with healing energy, light it, and hold the tip of the picture in the flame.
After it’s lit, drop it into the cauldron.
Now, with the red candle still burning, draw another picture of yourself without the negativity.
Place this under the red candle and let the candle burn out. You are done.

BANISHING SPELL TO STOP HARM

BANISHING SPELL TO STOP HARM

This will protect without causing the person bound any harm.
It is not a dark spell but a very potent protective one.
You may use a different oil if you wish to use as a banishing oil.
Rosemary may be substituted for Rue.
Materials:
1 black taper or image candle (gender depends on who you are trying to bind) nail
black cloth a large piece of black cloth red ribbon cotton needle and thread
Banishing oil (see below) loose tobacco
a small mirror that can stand by itself
If you can obtain hair or nail clippings from the person or a picture, you can use it in this spell.
Fold the felt in half and cut out a rough shape of the person you want to bind.
Make the figure large enough so that you will be able to stuff it after you have sewn it together.
Sew the pieces of the poppet together, leaving a hole through which you can stuff the poppet.
Fill it with cotton and tobacco, and if you have the hair or nail clippings of the person, add those to it.
Once it is filled, sew the opening closed. If you have a picture of the person,
staple or sew it to the front of the poppet.
Next, care the name of the person onto the black candle with the nail and add these runes:
Thuraz, Isa, Eihwas, a dark filled in circle to represent the dark moon,
bars like you will see in a jail, and a widdershins (anticlockwise) spiral.
Anoint the candle and the poppet with the oil.
Cast a circle, invoke the elements, God or Goddess you are working with.
Light the altar candles.
Light the black candle and adjust the mirror so that flame is reflected in the glass.
Hold the poppet out in front of you and say:
“Creature of cloth thou art,
Creature of flesh and blood you be.
I name you (name of the person you are binding).
No more shall you do me harm.
No more shall you repeat false tales.
No more shall you interfere in my life, nor in the lives of my loved ones.
By the power of the Gods and by my will, So mote it be!”
Draw an invoking pentagram over the poppet.
Now take the ribbon and begin to wrap the poppet like a mummy,
leaving no space unwrapped. Say:
“I bind your feet from bringing harm to me.
I bind your hands from reaching out to harm me.
I bind your mouth from spreading false tales to harm me.
I bind your mind from sending energy to harm me.
If you do so continue, let all negative energy be cast and reflected directly at you!”
Tie off the ribbon and hold the poppet in front of the mirror while you visualize all negative
energy this person has sent to you being reflected back at them.
Wrap the poppet in the black cloth and tie with another length of ribbon. Say:
“Great Mother, I have bound this person
from harming me and my loved ones.
By the powers of three times three
By Earth and Fire, Air and Sea
I fix this spell, then set it free
Twill give no harm to return to me
As I will, So mote it be!”
Let the candle burn out while the poppet sits at its base, then take the poppet
and the remains of the candle far from your home and bury it deep in the ground
or toss it in the ocean and walk away without looking back.

SPELL FOR BANISHING A TROUBLESOME PERSON

SPELL FOR BANISHING A TROUBLESOME PERSON

Use a black candle, with a picture of the person (if obtainable) placed underneath,
also a piece of parchment with the person’s name on it.
Carve the Divine Names “Eel kanno taf” onto the black candle.
Anoint the candle with Banishing Oil. Burn for nine nights, each night reading Psalm 94.
Put the candle out after Psalm is done (NOT by blowing it out).
On the last night let the candle burn all the way down.
While the candle burns (on each night), meditate and focus strongly on the aim in mind.
Imagine strongly the person leaving you alone; imagine strongly their evil deeds turning
back onto themselves. Do this for about 5 minutes each night before you pray the Psalm.
(Note: a purple candle could also work for this, but used black if this person had
been very harassing in a serious way).

GAELIC BANISHING SPELL

GAELIC BANISHING SPELL

Shout this Mantra
“Angels of Protection,
Angels who clear
Remove all spirits
Who don’t belong here!”
Call upon your highest teacher, angel, or God to clear the spirit.
To increase the potency of this spell, burn sage incense and white candles.
Use a glass of water to collect negativity, then flush the water.
Also, wear any jewelry that is sacred to you. Express power and strength, show no fear.
While you meditate after the chant, know that the atmosphere around you has been cleared
of all evil spirits.

BANISHING OIL

BANISHING OIL -1/2 oz olive oil 7 drops pepper oil (add cayenne pepper to olive oil if you wish)
-10 drops peppermint oil – or peppermint essence from icing part of a grocers plus olive oil.
-12 drops of rue or rosemary oil. You can add rue or rosemary to olive oil and put in a warm
place for 3 days and strain or buy the essential oil.
-Some crushed black peppercorns
-15 drops of pine oil or some pine needles stepped in olive oil for 3 days in warm place and strained.
Or pine essential oil. One obsidian or black onyx stone or a small black pebble.
Blend together in an eggcup and put In a clean brown or dark medicine bottle.
Some of these oils are volatile. Do not anoint yourself with Banishing oil. You could burn yourself.
Wash your hands after using. Charge the stone or stones used after adding it and focus on the
person and your intent pouring in energy and emotion. As you dress the candles you make them
your magical tools. Charge again as you massage away from you massaging in banishing oil from
middle to the ends of the candle.

CANDLE BLESSING

CANDLE BLESSING

Blessings be upon thee,
O creature of light!
Thrice blessed little herb!
Herb o’ grease, with thy waxen stem
and thy blossom of flame!
Thou art more potent against spells and terrors
and the invisible menace than fennel or dittany or rue.
Hail! antidote to the dealy nightshade!
Blossoming in the darkness,
thy virtues are hearts ease and quiet sleep.
Sick people bless thee,
and women in travail,
and people with haunted minds,
and all children.

House Blessing

House Blessing

In the spirit of house blessings, and because I’m basically a kitchen witch at
heart, and like little projects over serious ritual, I offer some selections
gleaned from Cunningham’s The Magical Household. I’m typing these without
permission but with the hope that they’ll inspire you to pick up the Cunningham
book, because it’s wonderful stuph… :>

For the doorway:

Suspend over the door a fresh sprig of dill, tied with a blue cord (or red, if
you prefer), to prevent those who mean you harm from entering.

Cross two needles, and stick into or tie onto a corner of your doormat, to
prevent evil from entering.

Grind Dragon’s Blood herb into a powder and sprinkle it on door and window
sills, to protect your house from harm.

“Witch Bottles”

Powder some more Dragon’s Blood herb with a small quantity of sugar and salt,
and place in a small corked or screw-lidded bottle. Shake and seal with red wax,
then place it where it won’t be found (or at least not easily seen). This will
ensure harmony and peace within the house.

Place three new needles, three new pins, and three new nails in a glass jar.
Fill with salt and shake vigorously nine times. Seal with white wax and place in
kitchen cupboard where it will not be seen. This protects your food from
contamination.

Gather rosemary, along with several needles and pins, into a small glass jar
with a tight-fitting lid or cork. When full, pour in red wine and shake. Seal
with black or red wax, and place in an inconspicuous place in the apartment. If
you own your own house, bury this at the furthestmost corner of your property.
The book also adds this:
As you’re filling the jar, say these words…
          “Pins, needles, rosemary, wine,
          In this witch’s bottle of mine;
          Guard against harm and enmity;
This is my will; so Mote it Be!”
Personally, I’m not hip on anything but, “Hey, Gods? It’s me again”, but I know,
I’m CONSIDERABLY less formal than most!

An Anti-Theft Sachet

Mix caraway, rosemary, juniper berries, and elder leaves or mistletoe, and place
into white square of cloth. Tie with white yarn and hang prominently. I’d assume
either at the place you think thieves are most likely to enter–this being an
anti-theft sachet–or at every entrance and doorway. This will require more
cloth and more herbs, but most of the above are fairly inexpensive.

Finally, on Moving Day itself:

Bring two things into the house first: a small amount of salt, half to be
scattered upon crossing the threshhold, and a small loaf of bread. Break the
bread into as many pieces as you have people moving in, with one extra piece for
the gods’ portion. Sprinkle a dash of salt on each piece; share, when you have a
moment. (I’d say have water on hand as well–at the very least, to clear the
salt!) Next, bring in an apple and do the same thing–Cunningham recommends a
fruit and cheese basket–I’d stick with just the apple and maybe a few slices of
cheddar, or something. Lastly, bring in a sturdy chair and place it either near
the apple and bread bits, or facing the door. This ensures that you will never
know poverty, for there is bread and salt, hunger, for there is fruit (and
cheese), and instability (for there’s your stable chair guarding the door. After
that, heave and lift until you’re moved in!

——-
A Note: I think ritual is very important, and I do admire rituals I’ve picked up
here and those I’ve found on my own. In the long run, though, I know myself well
enough to think that if I have to wait for a certain day and have a certain robe
on, or need a special tool or altar lay-out, it’ll never happen. But I can put
my hands on needles, pins, wine and spices at virtually any time, and can easily
make up witch’s bottles for the shelves and cupboards, sachets for the windows,
and incenses for household protection and cleansing. These simple items can have
just as much power as just about any major ritual, and are sometimes easier to
“whip up” for the busy pagan… :
