Well, I thought I would have received some feedback about my post yesterday…..
I honestly thought I would have received a like or some kind of response from the post I made yesterday. Nothing. Now that I stop to think about it, I shouldn’t even make a comment or opened my mouth. I figured out yesterday what was wrong with me, Mercury is retrograding in my sign. Well, when all else fails, blame it on a Retrograde, lol!
I have been up all night so as you can imagine I am in very rare form. I don’t like bearing my soul to the entire world but when something goes wrong, I am not afraid to say it was my fault. But that wasn’t why I was up all night, I have been fighting with the fish aquarium for two nights in a row. I cleaned it out Sunday and the light went out. I found another light under the stand and lite the aquarium up. Good grief, the water was so cloudy you could even see the decorations in it. I put the chemicals in it and waited till yesterday. Same thing. Country water has so much chlorine in it, I am surprised that the humans who drink it actually survive, but anyway…. I watched a little TV and as I walked back and forth pass the aquarium, I decided to tackle it again. I just didn’t realize when I decided to tackle it, it was 2:00 in the morning. By the time I finished it was 3:30 in the morning. I had to make a few phone calls early this morning and I decided in order to make those calls, why go to bed. Real smart, I know. So I stayed up and goofed off on the internet and made my phone calls. Now I think my head is going to hit the keyboard and off to sleep I go.
Due to the simple fact, I have had no sleep and Mercury is currently in my sign and I dare not open my mouth (as I have already found out this morning), I am going to put a simple poll below (I know this is a run on sentence, I’m tired!). If you have a moment, look it over and check the appropriate box, it is about the store. I want to know your opinion before I proceed. Like I have always said, “this is your site, I am just the zoo-keeper, lol!” I am leaving it up to you if we open another store or not. So you get a minute, look it over and let me know your opinion.

Let’s Talk…..
There are several things I need to talk to you about and I hope you will take time to listen. First of all, I would sincerely like to apologize to one of our very newest authors and additions to the WOTC, Kale Smith. I am sorry I did not take time to introduce Kale to you. Kale has offered to write for the WOTC on divination and other such topics. I have communicated with him numerous times, he is a wonderful person, very knowledgeable and I feel very honored to have him with us. He is also the founder of a new Pagan website, Apende Gran Magia. Please feel free to check out his site. He has some wonderful spells on it and as I mentioned he is just getting it started so please feel free to visit his site often and give him our support. Kale, please accept my apologizes for not making your introduction sooner but I think you know life around the WOTC has been rather hectic to say the least. Please welcome Kale to the staff and as a member of our family.
I do feel sincerely sorry for not having introduce Kale sooner, I also have something else to apologize for, that is the sudden disappearance of Magickal Necessities. As you all know I was planning on closing the store on February 28. Unfortunately, that was not to be, the store was deleted yesterday. As for the orders that were placed, don’t worry I retrieved them from our PayPal account, they have been filled and now on their way to you. The reason the store disappeared before the time I said it would was because I found out that Wix’s would be charging us $60.00 on the 15th of this month for the store to stay open till the end of the month. I think most of you know me, know that I don’t believe in chancing good money after bad. So when I found this out, I promptly deleted the site. It has got to the point that Wix’s was charging us for everything. We could not get ahead for losing. We were charged for the search engine on the site, the cart on the site, the check out page on the site and even the member section on the site. They were nickeling and diming us to death.
I had mentioned that Magickal Necessities would never again be revived and it won’t. During the past year, the reputation of the store has gone to hell. That is my fault. My fault for putting individuals over it I trusted and instead of doing the job they were suppose, they didn’t. Thus causing the store to start to earn a bad reputation. The WOTC has been on the internet for almost 20 years. During that time, we have earned one of the best reputation on the internet and one of the oldest Pagan sites on the net. We do not associate ourselves with anything or anyone that will ruin or tarnish our reputation. When I learned of the reputation Magickal Necessities was getting, I took it over. By that time, it was too late to save the store. When I saw it was impossible to turn it around, I decided to close it. As I said, the WOTC will not be associated with anything or anyone that might ruin the reputation that we have all worked so hard to earn. The individuals that were over the store have been let go and unfortunately due to Wix’s I had to close the store before the date I gave you. I sincerely apologize for that.
As you know I told you Magickal Necessities would never be revived again and now you know why. But it is my full intentions to open up another store. Yes, I am a glutton for punishment I know. But this time things are going to be different. I am running the store myself. I will be solely responsible for all transactions conducted through the store and all the store’s operation. The store will open under The WOTC’s name. You all know how highly I value the reputation we have, this store will have the same values and principles that we have set for the WOTC. If it fails to uphold the values and principles the WOTC has, it will cease to exist. We are leaving Magickal Necessities behind and opening up a brand new store, one with the WOTC name on it. You can rest assure that I will solely operate the store and oversee all your purchases and transactions. I have negotiated with some new wholesalers and we will also offer new merchandise at lower prices. I have found that one person who was suppose to oversee the old store had marked the prices up and was pocketing the money. That person is now faces criminal charges.
Some of the events that I have found out about while the store was open and running, I am ashamed of. I truly regret letting it stay open as long as it did. As you know my health during the past year hasn’t been the best so I had to depend on others to operate the store. I am now back to 100% if not better. I have learned from various employees of some of the events that occurred while Magickal Necessities was open and all I can say is I am truly, truly sorry. I had no idea of some of the events that occurred, if I had known the store would have long been gone before now. I can only ask that you have patience as we try to rebuild our new store and have trust in me. Trust me, that I will operate the store the way a store is suppose to be run. Provide you with reasonably priced merchandise, fast delivery and no hassle returns.
I am asking for a second chance on a new store. A store that will bear the name “Witches of the Craft.” A store that will have the same values and standards that this site has always had over the years. I know most of you know me well enough to know how I value the reputation of this organization and myself. The new store, Witches of the Craft, will be operated by myself and if you will give me a chance and the new store a chance, I can guarantee you, you will not be disappointed.
The last couple of months Magickal Necessities was open, I did more apologizing than I have ever had to do. I am tired of apologizing. I am tired of all of you having to listen to me apologize. You have my word and you know when I tell you something it is the truth, this new store will be honest, run properly and if I have a fatal illness, then it will close immediately. I will never, ever again trust a store or anything to do with the WOTC to be operated by anyone else besides myself. You have my word on that.
So one more time, I beg you to forgive me and I ask that you give me and our new store a chance. Give me the opportunity to show you that a store with the WOTC’s name on it, can be the best damn store on the internet. I haven’t found a new site to build a store on yet when I do I will let you know. I have thought about seeing if I could work out a deal with WordPress to open it here, I don’t know I haven’t even approached them about that. But when I do find a new site for it, I will let you know. I do know it won’t be on Wix’s that is for sure. You now know why the store was closed so suddenly. I can’t believe any of you would blame me for doing so. Hell, all I would have been doing if I had paid them the $60.00, would have been padding their pockets instead of ours. I honestly wish I could just wipe Magickal Necessities from all of our memories. But I can’t do that. I can only hope that you will take me at my word, once again and trust me.
I want the members of the WOTC to have a store so they can obtain their ritual items and needs easily. It has always been one of the main objectives of the WOTC to meet the needs of the Pagan community. I know the store was a big help to lots of our members and I can tell you it absolutely killed me to delete it. But it was also very painful to find out some of the things that had gone on in my absence. I guess the old saying, “when the cat’s away, the mice will play,” holds true. Because these mice, no excuse me, rats, ruined a very good thing. I am now to the point that I trust no one except myself and that is pretty darn bad. But if you want it done right, you have to do it yourself. So when the new store does open, it will be run by me and it will be run right. You have my word on that and you know I am good for my word.
I can never apologize enough to all of you. I would like for you to find it in your heart to give a new store and myself a second chance. When the store first started out, it did prove the WOTC with a financial income that helped us with our operations. It was not only a benefit to us but also a benefit to you as well. I can never take back what has happened but I can do my damnest to try to make things right this time. I feel like I have let all of you down but I could not help my health issues. The last year has been a disaster, I plan on changing that around for all of us. I plan on starting fresh and all over again. I ask that you join me in turning over a new leaf and taking a leap of faith with me one more time.

Getting Started With Pendulums for Divination Magic
Pendulum are fascinating instruments with complex magical properties. A pendulum mysteriously connects the unconscious and the conscious. It bridges the divide between the physical and spiritual planes, which makes it the perfect tool for divination magic.
As long as the pendulum string is taut and the weight is free of any negative energies that would interfere with its connection to the astral world, you will be able to use it to see beyond the realms of your everyday conscious mind. However, it takes a knowledge of the magical properties of pendulums and practice to use it as a divination tool.
How Can You Use a Pendulum as a Divination Tool?
The pendulum can see many things, but sometimes the revelations are vague. An inexperienced diviner could spend hours trying to seek answers with pendulum magic, with little success. Then they unexpectedly receive a flash of clarity, which gives them an answer. Sometimes, the insight is an eclipsed version of the answer they were seeking, which can be disappointing. Other times, the question is answered in full.
Understanding the Fundamentals of Pendulum Magic
You will receive clearer answers over time. The specificity of your answers depends on:
- How much practice you have had with divination magic
- Your level of confidence in your ability to divine the answers you are looking for
- Whether your aura is free of astral larvae or other parasites that can impede your connection to the astral plane
- How well you have cared for your pendulum
- Whether there are any impurities in your pendulum that could limit its connection to the astral world
Before you get started with pendulum magic, it is very important to address any roadblocks between your physical body and the astral world. Begin by removing any impurities from your life that attract astral parasites.
You must also make sure that the pendulum is formed from the right materials. I have seen novice witches try to use pendulums formed from cast iron, steel, wood or other materials that will not form a connection to the astral world. If you intend to use pendulum magic, you need to make sure it is formed from purer materials.
Crystals are theoretically the best materials for making pendulums. However, there are two major limitations with them. First of all, they are rare and fairly expensive. Secondly, they tend to collect a lot of energy. This means they need to frequently and rigorously cleaned to work as a divination tool.
Silver is the best materials to use for pendulum magic. It is both a metal of the earth and of the moon. Its lunar properties make it the perfect material for connecting to the astral world. Sterling silver is a great substitute, as long as it is no less than nine parts of silver for every part of the alloy metal.
Of course, silver is pricey. If you can’t afford it, then copper is the next best option. It is also a metal of the earth, with excellent conductive properties. Its conductivity is great for harvesting the energy needed to build a connection to the astral plane.
Invoking the Pendulum
Once you have made sure your pendulum is properly functioning and your own connection to the astral world is pure, you can start using it to build those connections. It is time to harness your pendulum and use it to begin invoking the all-seeing energies of the astral world.
You can use the pendulum to answer any question that you like. However, it is easier to ask for questions with binary answers, such as those that have “yes” or “no” as the only possible answers. You can ask for answers to more open-ended questions in the future, but you will need a lot more practice. For the purposes of this tutorial, we will assume that you are asking a binary question. The procedures for seeking answers to open-ended questions is beyond the scope of this post.
When you ask a question, you must follow up with possible answers. For example:
“Will my interviewer be impressed if I wear a black tie to my job interview tomorrow, yes or no?”
The pendulum will rotate clockwise, counterclockwise or it may oscillate. If it moves clockwise, that indicates that the first answer you posed is the answer you were looking for. A counterclockwise rotation indicates the second answer is correct.
It is possible that after the first movement, the pendulum will make a different and even contradictory motion. This may mean that the information provided corresponds to two different stages or situations. If so, you should modify the questions and get answers to both.
The most important and difficult part of pendulum divination magic is posing the question in a way that the answer will be practical and easy to decipher.
TYPES OF PENDULUMS
The first pendulums consisted of a simple key suspended from a thread. While it moved circularly, the diviner asked questions. Over time, a ring or a small ball of lead was placed instead of a key.
Later, the pendulum took on more refined forms, such as a small crystal sphere suspended from a gold chain, or a pendulum in the form of a pear made of ebony or ivory.
There are many fortune tellers and healers who prefer a solid quartz pendulum, although they require constant energetic cleansing, as crystals can be easily charged with all kinds of energies that may interfere with later work.
When creating any pendulum, you must tie a knot at each end of the object to prevent it from slipping between the fingers.
SOME USES OF THE PENDULUM
The pendulum is used in many modern cultures to choose fertile soil, as well as to search for minerals, fossils, gold and lost objects.
It can be used to make decisions and learn complicated answers to questions we face in everyday life.
Tips to Use Pendulum Successfully
– Find a private, quiet room that doesn’t contain electronics.
– Sit in a chair, preferably in front of a table, with your back straight and the palms of your feet resting on the floor.
– Avoid crossing your legs and arms or intertwining your hands during the session.
– Place the pendulum in front of the Sixth Chakra.
– Determine the meaning of the different oscillations. Yes, No, You don’t know. For example, it could be the following:
Yes: the pendulum moves forward or circles clockwise.
No: It turns in a circle counterclockwise.
Doesn’t know: The pendulum remains static or shows a slight vibration. In this case, pause or change the way you ask. Concentrate on the question and make sure that it is clear, short and precise. Take the pendulum between your extended thumb and index finger. Rest your forearm on the table and let the pendulum swing over the body area, hand or object.
CLEANING
From time to time it is good to put it in sea salt and you must try to avoid being touched by anyone other than yourself.

This new moon, which occurs at the same degree as the Great American Eclipse of August 2017, signifies the end of a long and likely somewhat arduous cycle of work along the Leo-Aquarius axis, which has attempted to teach us a balance between investing in self and investing in the collective.
