7.Release

In the previous series I mentioned about remembering the Flow . Today I will be remembering one of my most liberating words- RELEASE………

We are now entering a phase in humanity where if we do not release what has not been working for us as a collective we will not be able to survive.

This not only includes the way we think about the environment, but also the way we organize our health systems, our economy, manage our land, resources and respect our surroundings in general. Science has dubbed this era as the 6th mass extinction. This basically means that we have been over the last couple of decades in a ‘biological annihilation’, yes, we are speeding up extinction of not only us but all other species that include animal, insect and plant on this earth.

So for today I…

  1. Flow-

Today we will be remembering the word that allows all energy to exist, as without this there is nothing, literally……….

I have been excited even thinking about writing what this word means to me at this time. To me the flow exists beyond time, in the dark and light of the universe, in different dimensions, in alternate universes, it is the ingredient that brings to life from the smallest of atoms to the largest of black holes.

Now some call this universal energy, cosmic flow, others call it God, Goddess, prana, some call it time, spirit, life and some name it the Big Bang. Call it whatever it is you want, it is the one thing that gives meaning and existence to all that is. The flow exists as the ‘rhythmic pulse’ one that creates the magick that we can see…

Now in the previous series of  ‘There is no Time Like the Present’  I mentioned how we need to Nurture the most important person in our lives and that is ourselves. In such times make sure that you save some of your energy to nurture your gifts, your love for the Divine, your loved ones that matter the most in your life and of course nurture a better version of you.

Today I will be briefly remembering the word that empowers us to move forward. It enlightens our inquisitive mind, it makes us a better version of ourselves and it allows self reflection in times of solitude.

  1. Seek-

When I think back of the times that I have taken self-exploration, seeking, journeying, going on a quest, call it what you may, it has been in a space where I have…

Now in the previous series of ‘There is no Time Like the Present’ I mentioned how true Control comes from finding balance within and as a result the balance will overflow into our outer world. The next word I will be remembering is one of my favorite, almost a pivotal part of you could say the fulcrum of any healing situation, and that is:

  1. Nurture-

It is in this space that we allow, acknowledge and accept abundance, encouraging creativity and at the same time empowering our being to blossom into the best part of us. Yes at this time and space it is important that we engage in nurturing methods. There really is no time better than this. A time where the world is on the edge, people walking around trying so hard to protect their loved ones that they actually forget…

Now in the previous series of ‘There is no Time Like the Present’ I mentioned how healing was so important in this day and age and especially in this climate. Take your time with these words, I have found ways to add them in my ceremonies, in my journeying and in my mediation practices. Help these words come alive by remembering. Feel free to click on the above link for more of an insight on this series.

Today I will briefly be remembering the word that helps us release and realize our restrictive behaviors and that is:

  1. Control– There is no time like the present environment to practice doing this. In this time and climate the situation of life is really out of our control. It has sent many people in a spin and in a space of uncertainty.

Now in the previous series of ‘There is no Time Like the Present’ I mentioned how important it can be at this present time to simply ‘Observe’ of what is occurring around us. Feel free to click on the above link for more of an insight on this series.

Today I will be briefly remembering the word that allows wellness into our mind and our life.

  1. Heal

In this time of chaos it is important to try and bring some calm and peace in your life. The whole of humanity is on edge setting even the calmest into a spin. Surround yourself with a beautiful healing light and visualize this running from the earth’s core into your own cells and then radiating out into the rest of humanity.

Bring this healing method in for your hopes and dreams, for your family and the well being of all.

In the course of a couple of weeks humanity has changed in an unprecedented rate sparking mass global fear, confusion, anger, paranoia, hate, racism and frenzy are just to name a few.

Now I say humanity as the earth itself, the Great Mother and the Great Father is going about business as usual. In fact a break from humanity is allowing Gaia to once again thrive. Our imagined role as the ‘superior species’ is becoming more and more evident that we are truly all connected, one species is no more important than the other. This delicate balance of the ‘Web of Life’ is something ancient cultures have spoken of since the beginning of our walk on this earth. Those still practicing the old religion and ancient spiritual practices are in a space of understanding that goes beyond space and time, it is…

Dill is a member of the Parsley family and not too distant relative of fennel. I often use the two interchangeably. Although it is indigenous to Asia, it is cultivated now all over the world.

Growing Dill

You can sow this seed annually in rich soil, sheltered from strong winds because of its delicate disposition. You can plant it next to cabbage or onions but NOT next to carrots as the dills root extractions can harm the carrots. Companion planting is always advisable in any garden.

Eat It With

It’s wonderful with smoke fish, seafood, lamb, beef, mushrooms, broad beans, cabbage, carrots, cucumber, potatoes, rice, sour cream, yogurt, eggs and paprika, to flavor pickles and wonderful in salads,

So here is a little bit about me…..

The Calling

Back in 1987 I saw a wonderful movie called ‘Babette’s Feast’. One that transformed the way I thought about food. It allowed me to think of food, the art of cooking and eating on a soul level and the Psyche. We spend numerous hours cleansing our spiritual space to create a flow of energy that will allow us effective results in our magickal life. We prune, water and tend to our gardens. We dust reorganize and designs our homes. We decorate our altar space, feeding this energetically in honor of the Gods or whatever is part of your belief system. One of the most important spiritual domains that we forget is our body. Yes your body too is a temple, a sacred altar, one that should be honored and respected just as equally. It is through this sacred vessel that ALL energy runs through and impacts our Magikcal world.

Cultures throughout time have practiced time honoring rituals in maintaining the body as a sacred space, we are the vessel that the Magick is radiating through. We create the space within ourselves for all Magick to…

Isis, Lady of the Holy Cobra

The serpent throughout history has endowed us humans with much power usually reserved for Gods, Goddesses, Kings and Queens.

In ancient Egypt it’s symbolism adorned the crowns of the most powerful Kings and Queens, especially that of the Cobra. Cleopatra from the Ptolemaic blood line in Alexandrea is often depicted with such a powerful serpent on her crown, as so were other Kings and Queens in her blood line thought to be descendant from the Gods themselves.

The Cobra is a symbol of not only mysticism, magick and majesty, but also one of great and infinite or eternal power, something the Egyptian Kings and Queens found very alluring.

It is the connection between life and death and one that represents the afterlife that links the Cobra to mysticism and the occult.

Cobra Familiar is certainly NOT for everyone…

Whenever I make a trip to my parent’s homeland I always endeavor to visit as many sacred Temple sites as I can.

One of the Temple sites that I will be revisiting sometime this year is located at Delphi, in upper central Greece on Mt Parnassus.

This is the site of the Oracle and the sanctuary of the Great God Apollo. It truly must have been a sight to behold in its days of glory.

Ancient peoples from all across the land came to consult this High Priestess called the Pythia. Thousands of people congregated on the foot of the temple waiting their turn.

The Pythia dates back to 600 BC, that is nearly 2,620 years ago.

Specific Oracular Timing

You see, the Pythia was active for only 9 months of the year as the winter made it impossible to travel to this…

All Signs

This week we have Valentine’s Day, but have you ever wondered how it got started? According to Encyclopedia Britannica: “The holiday has origins in the Roman festival of Lupercalia, held in mid-February. The festival, which celebrated the coming of spring, included fertility rites and the pairing off of women with men by lottery. At the end of the 5th century, Pope Gelasius I replaced Lupercalia with St. Valentine’s Day.” Wow! Fertility rites! And they chose couples by lottery! (I think this is also the origin of the phrase, “Your number is up!”)

Aries (March 21-April 19)

This is a popular week! Enjoy schmoozing and interacting with clubs and organizations. Your ruler Mars is at the top of your chart, which arouses your ambition. This influence will last for six weeks and it occurs only once every two years so use it! Mercury retrograde will help you because it…

Drawing down the Moon

hypatiaofalexandrea's avatarEnchanted Circle of Witches®

δραςινγ-δοςν-τηε-μοον

Drawing down the Moon (also known as drawing down the Goddess) is a central ritual in many contemporary Wiccan traditions. During the ritual, a coven’s High Priestess enters a trance and requests that the Goddess or Triple Goddess, symbolized by the Moon, enter her body and speak through her. The High Priestess may be aided by the High Priest, who invokes the spirit of the Goddess. During her trance, the Goddess speaks through the High Priestess.

The name most likely comes from a depiction of two women and the moon on an ancient Greek vase, believed to date from the second century BCE.

In classical times of ancient Greece, ancient Thessalian witches were believed to control the moon, according to the tract: “If I command the moon, it will come down; and if I wish to withhold the day, night will linger over my head; and again, if I wish to embark on the sea, I…
