How are ya’ll doing this morning? I hope super. It is a dreary, old day here. It is spitting snow occasionally. But all we are suppose to have is a few flurries (with our weather people that means a blizzard, lol!).
If you are down in the dumps on days like today, it just makes it that much worse. You know we started raffling items off and now the gift certificate to raise money to cover our expenses. I swore up and down I would never mention money to you again. I am not going to mention money to you now, I am just going to tell you why I am down in the dumps. I am sitting here looking at a $569.00 light bill (electric heaters eat up the power). I have put them off and put them off but today is our final day. We are due to be disconnected tomorrow if we do not come up with the money by 5:00 pm today.
So if you were interested in purchasing a raffle ticket now might be a good time to do it. Surely we will have the power back on by the 31st to announce the winner. I hope.
I thought I would drop you a note and let you know today, why we might not be here tomorrow. I know a few of you get upset and worry when you don’t hear from us. For those who worry and fret, you know now where we will be. Working our rumps off to keep everything warm around here.
So if you feel that urge to buy a raffle ticket, now is the time to do it. I have got to run and get today’s postings ready. We will see you shortly,
