The House of the Self
Close your eyes and visualize the exterior of a house. In your mind enter the house and explore the interior from the basement to the attic. As you look around notice the colours, style and overall atmosphere of each room. After examining each room thoroughly, open your eyes and draw what you have seen. Reflect on the meaning of your house as a metaphor for yourself. What understanding of yourself can you glean from this exploratory visualization?
