Water of Life

 

Around this time each year in Thailand, at the nearest full room, the Loi Krathong Festival is held in honor of the water goddess, Mae Khongkha, to than her with offerings of river-borne banana-leaf cups holding flowers, lighted candles, or incense for providing life-sustaining water.
