Licorice

Medicinal Uses: Licorice is used to relieve respiratory ailments such as allergies, bronchitis,
colds, sore throats, and tuberculosis. Licorice root is often used to prevent and treat stomach
ulcers. Licorice is also used in the treatment of heart disease because of its effects on
cholesterol and blood pressure. It has also been used for over 3,000 years by the Chinese as
a tonic to rejuvenate the heart and spleen, and as a treatment for ulcers, cold symptoms,
and skin disorders.
Licorice is used in treating adrenal insufficiencies such as hypoglycemia and Addison’s disease, counteracting stress, and in purifying the liver and bloodstream.

Persons with a history of congestive heart failure, kidney disease, and liver disorders should not use licorice compounds. Do not use if you are pregnant or nursing.

A Very Beautiful & Blessed Good Monday Morning To All My Sweets!

witchcraft

Good Morning, my dear sweet family & friends! How y’all doing today? I hope super fine. It is a gloomy, rainy day here today. I hope wherever you might be the Sun is shining brightly on you & yours.

Well, did you miss me? Probably didn’t even notice I was gone. I took a few days off for my sanity’s sake. As I have told you Kiki has been sick and no vet could figure out what was wrong with her. I found out last week, at vet #4 what was wrong with her. She has congestive heart failure. The minute I heard that I tuned up and started to cry. But the vet reassured me there was no need for tears, there was medicine that could treat her condition. Sure enough this vet knew what he was doing. Her condition has improved 100%. No more goose-coughing, difficult in breathing, nothing, she is almost back to her old honory self. Now we have at least a thirty minute fight every morning & evening just to get one tiny pill down her. She is so bull-headed it ain’t even funny. But I guess she gets that from her momma, lol!

I do have one quick announcement to make, in fact it was a surprise for even me. We now have our very own forum. That’s right, Meadow and one of her dear friends, Azul, made the forum for us. It was a surprise to actually see it made and we are so grateful to Meadow and Azul for doing this for us. When all is said and done it will be a treasure trove of information for all of you. Heck, we are going to have information all over the net, lol! Personally, I don’t see anything wrong with that. The more spots we have on the net, the more we can get our message out to the general population. You know you can help contribute on the forum if you would like. All you have to do is simply register, then if you have a favorite recipe, spell, potion or whatever, feel free to contribute to it. The forum also makes it much easier for us to socialize and answer question you might have or just get to know you. I know when you ask a question here, sometimes it gets lost. We have I don’t know how many comments coming through a day, so it is very easy for your question or comment to get lost. But at the forum, it is open and your comment or question, can be readily seen by all. I have provided a link to the WOTC’s forum below. I hope you will stop by and check it out. There’s not much information there right now, but I guarantee you there will be. Remember, you can contribute as well as we can, I am counting on it.

Now on to the business at hand….
