Daily Feng Shui News for April 25th – ‘World Tai Chi and Qigong Day’

Today is one after my own heart, or perhaps I should say that today does a heart good. It’s ‘World Tai Chi and Qigong Day,’ a time to exercise our right to long-lasting and great health. Qigong is a powerful system of healing or ‘energy medicine’ that hails from the Orient. Every Qigong exercise, whether a physical movement or a pattern of breathing, focuses on and regulates specific energy centers in your entire being. A quick and easy Chi Gung method of aiding digestion (as well as an exercise that helps with weight loss) is to do this after eating: Bring your hands to the upper left part of your abdomen, approximately where your stomach is located. Slowly and deliberately, move your hands in a circle over this area. Circle the stomach 50 to 100 times, all the while taking smooth, deep breaths. That’s it. Coming full circle in this way will now bring you an incredible lightness of being — literally.
