New Moon occurs at 10:57 p.m. EDT. At its New phase, the Moon crosses the sky with the Sun and so remains hidden in our star’s glare.

But I really don’t care, I am fighting for the Lady I love. That Lady happens to be Lady Abyss. I love her very deeply and have stood by her through many horrendous times. We go Friday to see how big the tumor is on her hip and what our next steps are. I made a post last night about wanting everyone to chip in and purchase a bottle tree for her. It is what she wants.

For those of you who haven’t donated, have you stopped to think this might be her last birthday on this plane. If that turns out to be the case, why not make it extra special.

Someone mentioned these trees are expensive. Yes, they are. Last year, my sister raised $500 to get the pup to Lady A’s door stop. Lady A is a very special witch in our clan and we feel it is our honor and duty to provide her with what she wants. Lady Abyss Took A Day or Two Off & When The Cat’s Away The Mice Will Play

Lady Abyss has taken a few days off. My sister, Mystie is busy getting her life back together after the fire. She is still living with Lady A and I think that might be why Lady A took some time off to get away from her. They recruited me to fill in while they are both out. I had to do a name change since WordPress said my old name was already taken. Most of you know me by my old name Lord Myst, now I am using the Gentleman Druid but I prefer the other and will be using it.

Lady Abyss’ has a birthday coming up and every year for her birthday we all chip in and purchase her something nice. She is the hardest, most ambitious witch I know. She works long hours in the service of our Lady and the organization. She is currently negotiating a deal with a syndicated radio network for the WOTC to be featured on. After that, she will negotiating another deal to be a consultant on a new movie that is being produced. I am sure you know her reasons for doing this just as I do. She wants our history and the truth about us being portrayed accurately.

The first year, we all chipped in an got her a beautiful onyx pentagram, last year we got her a beautiful pup after her beloved Kiki passed. As you know the pup was killed in the accident. This year we were baffled as to what to get her. We were talking to the witch who came up from Louisiana when Lady A had her wreck. She mentioned Lady A said something about a bottle tree. Lady A got the idea for a bottle tree after hearing about the history from the witch from Louisiana. According to legend, the bottle tree is placed outside the home. It is a wire frame in shape of a tree. It has branches and on the branches are shiny, glittering bottles. Legend has it, that evil spirits that come out at night and around the home are attracted to the shiny bottles. They get trapped in the bottles and at the first light of dawn, they are destroyed by the light. Swampy (the witch from Louisiana) told her of this legend from the deep South and said it might not be a bad idea for her to get one. Now Lady A is convinced that she needs one for her cabin. Perhaps with the year she has had she just might.

We all love Lady A and this is what we would like to get her for her birthday. We have a picture of what a bottle tree look likes. They aren’t cheap and again, we were wondering if you would be interested in chipping in on her birthday present. Who knows if the legends about the bottle trees are true but we love our Lady and if it will offer her some comfort and peace of mind, then she deserves it. As in the past, the card to her will read from all of the WOTC  and you will know it because she will be over joyed and thank you.

For the next few days, we will be collecting donations for Lady A’s birthday present. The last year hasn’t been kind to her. It would be nice to get her something for her birthday that she actually wants and would be a smile on her face and give her peace of mind. In case you are wondering, Lady A will never see this post, Mystie has blocked her from her viewing it. She will never know what we are up to, so ssh is the word.

We have reached a turning point, one that marks the crossing over into a new cycle of being. The beginning of this new cycle is marked by the Equinox on March 20th / 21st and is indicative of the new reality we will now inhabit. A new reality, which is the culmination of all the many, many shifts, changes and transformations that we have endured. This new cycle is the realization and actualization of your true divine self.

The first three months of 2017 have been a time of cleaning up and clearing out all that is no longer need. In this time you have descended into the depths of your soul to access your hidden qualities. You have ascended into elevated aspects of your being to gather expanded states of consciousness. You have shifted timelines and crossed dimensions retrieving long forgotten aspects of your soul. You have accepted your grief, your pain and your suffering. You have healed, realigned and reunited these aspects so that you may move forward unhindered by your past.

You are now in the midst of creating a new life, one that honors difference, accepts individuality, embraces creativity and allows balance. You are weaving a new world into existence. A world that unites all aspects of your being and enables you to truly feel and experience life from the center point of your soul. The next three months will involve a period of rejuvenation, which will accelerate your soul’s embodiment process. Connecting with these gifts initiates a journey into your soul’s mysterious depths. In these depths you will unveil your soul’s divine messages and find your way to greater self-knowledge. As you access this knowledge you will discover your true nature, your purpose, the dreams, prayers and hopes your soul has for this life. You will remember that your soul is also a keeper of divine wisdom and truth. You will come to understand that no real separation exists when you are in constant communion with your soul. It is easy to spot the ruler of this day by its name. In the word Friday, we see the roots of the name of the Norse goddess Freya, a goddess of love and fertility, and the most beautiful and propitious of the goddesses thus the verse “Friday’s child is loving and giving.”

In Spanish this day of the week is called Viernes and is derived from the goddess Venus. Matters of love, human interaction, the fluidity of communication, sewing and the creation of artistic garments, household improvement, shopping, and party planning all fall under the aspects of Friday and its ruling planet, Venus.

Friday’s angels are Ariel/Uriel, Rachiel, and Sachiel. Rachiel also concerns himself with human sexuality and is a presiding spirit of the planet Venus.

On Fridays, the hour of sunrise and every eight hours after that are also ruled by Venus, and that makes these times of the day doubly blessed. These four hours are the strongest four hours for conducting ritual.

Friday falls at the end of the work week for many of us, and that means we get a chance to relax for a little bit! Mark your Fridays with colors like pink and aqua, and metals such as copper. This is a day ruled by the planet Venus, so it should be no surprise that Venus and Aphrodite – goddesses of love and beauty – are associated with Fridays. This is a day named for the Norse goddess Freyja, so be sure to take a moment to honor her as well.

 

Gemstones associated with Friday include coral, emerald and rose quartz, and plants like strawberries, apple blossoms and feverfew are also related. This is a good day to do spellwork associated with family life and fertility, sexuality, harmony, friendship, growth. Take advantage of Friday’s correspondences and plant a seed, make something grow, and enjoy your blessings

 

*Note: There are a lot of disputes as to the origins of the word Friday, because there is still a great deal of discussion as to whether it was named for Freyja or Frigga, and whether they were the same deity or two separate ones. Some scholars believe that while they may have eventually become two distinctly different goddesses, they could have had their origins in a single, common Proto-Germanic deity.
