This Day in History, March 5: Navigium Isidis

Navigium Isidis

The Navigium Isidis or Isidis Navigium (trans. the vessel of Isis)[1] was an annual ancient Roman religious festival in honor of the goddess Isis,[2] held on March 5.[3] The festival outlived Christian persecution by Theodosius (391) and Arcadius’ persecution against the Roman religion (395).[4]

In the Roman Empire, it was still celebrated in Italy at least until the year 416.[5] In Egypt, it was suppressed by Christian authorities in the 6th century.[5]

The Navigium Isidis celebrated Isis’ influence over the sea and served as a prayer for the safety of seafarers and, eventually, of the Roman people and their leaders.[6] It consisted of an elaborate procession, including Isiac priests and devotees with a wide variety of costumes and sacred emblems, carrying a model ship from the local Isis temple to the sea[7] or to a nearby river.[8]

Modern carnival resembles the festival of the Navigium Isidis,[1] and some scholars argue that they share the same origin (via carrus navalis, meaning naval wagon, i.e. float – later becoming car-nival).[9][10][11][12][13] Many elements of Carnival were in turn appropriated in the Corpus Christi festival, most prominently in the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal).[14]

Get A Jump On Tomorrow…..

Your Daily Horoscopes for Wednesday, March 6th

Moon Alert

We have the “all clear” today to shop and do business. The New Moon is in Pisces.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Today is a New Moon, and at different times, both the Sun and the Moon are lined up with Neptune. In a weird way, this can make you second guess yourself. You might doubt your abilities to do something. Don’t take this seriously because it’s a temporary confusion.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

It’s easy to idealize a friend today or a member of a group. Your admiration might even instill a desire in you to emulate this person or to change your goals so that you follow in their footsteps. This might be a good idea – but it might not be.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

You might want to present a certain image of yourself to others today, especially bosses and parents. You might strive to be something that you hope to be, or it might just be an act. Conversely, someone might present this sort of thing to you. It’s a tricky day.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Because your appreciation of beauty is heightened today, give yourself a chance to enjoy beautiful places and beautiful things. Visit art galleries, museums, beautiful boutique shops or pristine parks because you will be inspired by the creativity of others.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

Avoid making important financial decisions today, especially if you are giving away money or sharing something. Your ideals are inspired and because of this, you might be tempted to give away the farm. Generosity is a good thing, but you must act when you are clear and know what you’re doing. Today is fuzzy.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You might over idealize a partner or close friend today or they might see you in the same idealistic way, which can be flattering, but it is unrealistic. Therefore, think very carefully before you agree to anything important so that you do not end up with regrets.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You might be inspired to help a coworker today or someone you encounter through your job. Or this same astrological influence might instead make you feel world-weary and overwhelmed by the tasks that you face. Don’t worry because this is a fleeting influence.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Today you are in touch with your muse and your creative vibes, which is why you might have imaginative ideas about artistic projects. You might also feel sympathetic to the needs of children. Meanwhile, romance will be the stuff of movies – which could be an illusion.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

You will want to help a family member today if you can because you feel genuinely sympathetic to their needs. You might also want to plan some kind of family occasion that is a bonding, heartwarming event because your idealism is aroused.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Don’t worry if you spend a lot of time daydreaming today or being lost in a fantasy world because it’s very easy to do this today. In discussions with others, clarify what they are saying because it’s easy to misread people today.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Be careful shopping today because you will be tempted to spend too much money on elegant, luxurious items. Later you might wonder why you even bought them? (Five ostrich boas? One, yes — but five?) Keep your receipts.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

This is a good day to take a realistic look in the mirror and check out the image you create on your world. What can you do to create a better impression? When people meet you, they immediately size you up- never underestimate this. You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

If Your Birthday Is Today

Actor Tom Arnold (1959) shares your birthday today. You are free-spirited and live by your own rules. You’re a perfectionist who can inspire others. This is a party year! Enjoy a heightened popularity and warm friendships with others. You will have much to be grateful for this year. Learn to appreciate the happiness and beauty around you. This year you will make an important choice. Happiness is having alternatives.

Born on March 5, Happy Birthday Pisces!

Happy Birthday
Happy Birthday Pisces!

IF YOU ARE BORN ON March 5, you are not afraid to take a stand. The March zodiac sign for this day is Pisces. You are well spoken and sociable. You are very sensitive but open about your feelings.

What the birthday horoscope for 5th March says is that you can be opinionated but have the gift of gab. You can sell a peanut farmer and fig tree. This ability to charm people makes it easy for you to speak to people publicly. You also have the ability to write. Maybe you would be interested in a career as a journalist. In business, you tend to show up late for things that are time-based. You cannot seem to make the meeting on time or hit those deadlines.

Those with birthday March 5 also have problems with criticisms but find it hard to turn down anyone that needs a favor. Sacrifice is no stranger to you. Being of help to others is what compels you to be a better person.

The thought of someone mistreating another is ugly to you. This is just the reality of things though, Pisces. You cannot escape the truth just because it is not a part of March 5th birthday personality.

Sometimes, Pisces, this is not a good thing, but you learned to express yourself by way of writing. You are notorious for writing poetry or for performing what is known as the “spoken word.” Pisceans are demonstrative people.

Yes, the ones who talk with their hands and bounce all over the place while they tell a story. That is one reason you make awesome storytellers according to your birthday analysis.

If today is your birthday, then amongst your friends and family, you are highly thought of. Those of you born on March 5 are great parents. You love kids and they return the favor.

Pisces, you have your favorites though. They are usually the ones with a special talent or gift. Therefore, you try to bring out the best in them. Piscean birthday individuals are very helpful and caring people especially when it comes to children.

Pisceans do not normally trust just anyone with their heart – you have to earn it. To have a Piscean as a friend or lover is to find someone that deserves to be treasured. Those with a March 5 zodiac birthday look for attractive but intelligent lovers. Someone with whom you can hold a meaningful conversation.

Although you hate hurting anyone’s feelings, you will. With you Pisces, it is the combination of both or nothing at all. Nothing is more irritating to a Pisces than a space cadet or someone without a sense of humor.

As discussed earlier, Pisceans have creative ability. You could easily be an art major, an animator, or musician. Any profession or career that is open to expression, you are a good match. Marketing and advertising is another field to think give some thought.

The 5th March birthday astrology suggests that it would give you the freedom to bring some of your ideas to fruition. Whatever you do, stay away from any job that uses an itinerary and time clocks. Those born on this day are oblivious when it comes to following maps or directions.

Most Pisceans would work for free. You find yourself in a position that reaching your goals is more important than the salary. At the same time, you realize that money must be made to afford your lifestyle.

You could be guilty of spending too much or being so tight with a dollar, you need the WD40 to pry it away from you! Whichever the case may be, you use it to help others or to splurge on those kids you love so much.

If you are born on March 5, you may suffer with bad legs and feet. This could be something that is hereditary or a general problem such as an injury that has given you chronic pain.

Try using an alternative method of healing to possibly reducing inflammation or joint pain. Treat yourself to a good therapeutic massage or relax in a Jacuzzi or hot tub.

March 5 birthday meanings show that you make great parents, friends, and salespersons. You have the ability to express yourself through writing but cannot read a map.

In a lover, you seek the companionship of a like-minded intelligent individual. You being Pisces born should take care of your body.

Your Daily Horoscopes for Tuesday, March 5

Moon Alert

After 3:30 AM EST today, we have the “all clear” to shop and do business. The Moon is in Pisces.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Generally, you’re first in line. You get the first word and the last, cuz there’s no moss growing on you! Today however, you prefer to step back and work alone or behind the scenes because it just feels better. You want to keep a low profile.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

You’re keen to interact with others today, especially friends or members of groups. You will identify with someone and be ready to sympathize with their situation, which is why you might have a heart-to-heart talk. You might also be involved with a group today.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Whether you choose to be or not, you are high viz. today. People notice you, especially bosses and parents. Do take note because this also includes the police. (Good to know.) You’ll find you carry extra authority in whatever you do or say.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

As a rule, you are a nester, which means you generally travel for a reason – business, family or a special occasion. Today however, you want to do something different. You want some stimulation and a chance to learn something new! You want to meet new faces.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

You are gung ho now to achieve your mission (whatever it is) because fiery Mars is at the top of your chart arousing your ambition. Today your focus is on shared property, taxes, debt, insurance issues, wills and inheritances. All that red tape stuff that we try to ignore but it never goes away on its own.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Because the Moon today is opposite your sign, you have to be more accommodating than usual when dealing with others. Be prepared to go more than halfway. This doesn’t mean you’re giving up anything or “losing” – it is simply skilful means on your part.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Look around you to see what you can do to work more efficiently and run your life more smoothly. Start with small things. It’s funny how little things like making your bed or doing your laundry, give you the impetus to tackle bigger tasks with confidence. (The reverse is true, too.)

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

This is a playful, fun-loving day, which means you need to get out and socialize! Enjoy fun activities with children. Be open to romantic flirtations and meeting others. Be patient with partners and close friends because Mars is opposite your sign. (By April this is over for another two years.)

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

No sign more than you likes to be outdoors. You love to have sky overhead. Today however, you might want to cocoon at home because it suit your needs. Maybe you need a breather? Maybe your home situation demands your attention?

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Make a point of talking to others today, especially neighbours, relatives and siblings because you need to enlighten others about something. You have something you want to say and you need an audience! Yada, yada, yada.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

“There’s money in them thar hills!” Money, financial discussions, earnings, cash flow and shopping are a strong focus for you today. With respect to your financial deals, remember that this year your interaction with others will actually benefit you. Keep this in mind.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Wow – the Sun, the Moon, Mercury retrograde and your ruler Neptune are all in your sign! This means the entire world is having a Pisces hit. (Surely there is a great shoe sale somewhere.) Ask for what you want because you just might get it!

If Your Birthday Is Today

Actress Eva Mendes (1974) shares your birthday today. You are a talented, independent thinker. You have a mind of your own and feel free to express your opinions. Because this will be a fast-paced year, get ready for action. Expect fresh excitement! Enjoy travel opportunities and chances to expand your horizons. Be open to embracing change and new opportunities. Your personal freedom is one of your goals this year.

Inspiration for the Day for May 5: Finding Our Life’s Work

Finding Our Life’s Work

BY MADISYN TAYLOR

Your most important work in this lifetime may not be your job – it’s a conviction within your soul, recognizable if you allow it to shine.

Sometimes it takes us the better part of a lifetime to discover our life’s work, even though we may have been doing it our whole lives without necessarily realizing it. Our life’s work is not always what we do to make money, although we often think it should be, and sometimes this way of thinking prevents us from seeing clearly what it is. It may be the work of having children, caring for them, and running a household. The way we know our life’s work is by how we feel when we are doing it.When we are doing our life’s work, we feel an uncanny sense of ease and alignment. This doesn’t mean that the work is always easy, and it doesn’t mean that it’s the only work we have to do; it just means that there is a conviction deep inside us that tells us we are in tune with our innermost self. When we are engaged in our life’s work, our bodies feel more alive, because our energy is devoted to a cause that, in turn, feeds us. We may be tired after engaging in our life’s work, but we are almost never depleted. We feel grounded in the world, knowing that we belong here and have something important to offer. When we are deeply unhappy, depressed, or subject to one illness after another, this may be due to a sense of disconnection from our life’s work. At times like these, finding the work we are meant to do is an essential act of healing. Most of us remember a time when we felt fully engaged in some act of work, service or creativity, and it is here that we may rediscover the work we are meant to do now. On the other hand, it may be time to explore what inspires us through volunteering, taking a class, going back to school, or just doing whatever it is we long to try. We all have callings, and when we find them, we owe it to ourselves to nurture and protect them, because while they may or may not be our livelihood, they are the keys to our wellbeing.

Daily Motivator for March 4: Welcome the consequences

Welcome the consequences

Ask yourself, what can you do today that will improve the consequences you experience tomorrow? How can you make the inevitable consequences turn out in your favor?

For all you do, for all you think, for all you choose, there are consequences. The consequences may come soon, or much later, you might recognize them, or you might not, yet they will always come.

For every action there is a reaction, for every cause a result. Live as though there will be consequences, because there will be.

You cannot avoid consequences. What you can do, however, is to bring about the most desirable consequences as a result of the choices you make.

Gratefully embrace the fact that there are consequences. Consequences enable you to change reality, and you can choose to make those changes valuable, beneficial ones.

When you act in this moment, you act on behalf of all the days and years to come. Act so that when the consequences do arrive, you’ll be delighted to welcome them with open arms.

Spirit Message of the Day – Nurture Innocence

Spirit Message of the Day – Nurture Innocence

INNOCENCE
“Whether you are a mother or just have a mother, we all know that the subject of mothers is complex. But here we are looking at a specific aspect of motherhood; its relationship with providing care.”

“In its ideal form, the love of a mother for her child is selfless, pure, and unconditional. She is devoted to the care of her child. She will sacrifice herself for them. Her love is not marred by an agenda; it is innocent. The fairy shown on this card holds the tiny life close to her. The child reaches out, forming their first relationship; a pure and simple action. The mother and baby nurture one another, giving to each other in different ways. In life, things are less than ideal, but still, we understand the responsibility of the care of an innocent, new life is major. It takes sacrifices, strength, and wisdom that we may not have imagined.”

“Motherhood, the practice of being a mother, can take many forms. We may be called to take care of something or someone that has nothing to do with babies. Caring for someone in this way can also be a gift, similar to motherhood. It can be an unusually satisfying experience.”

“This image, of the innocent mother and baby fairies, is one of those tender, touching images that really holds a thousand words. Mother and child cling together. Although the mother acknowledges us with a glance, we know that this attention is fleeting. In less than a moment, her focus will be back on her baby. For the time being, they are each other’s whole world. Her purple gown, representing her personal power, is bound with a white ribbon, representing purity and spirituality. She is using her abilities for one purpose only; to care for this child.”

MESSAGE FOR YOU
“Care needs to be given, and it’s up to you to give it. It may be a person or animal, an event, ora project. Whatever it is, there is a need for you to focus, at least for a while, only on it. You will need to put some of your own needs and desires on the back burner for the time being, and attend to the need at hand. This card could also mean that you are the one in need and should accept the care and help that is being offered.”

Today’s message is from Barbara Moore’s book entitled Enchanted Oracle with oracle card art from Jessica Galbreth.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT 2019’S MERCURY RETROGRADES

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT 2019’S MERCURY RETROGRADES

The ancient Greeks called the planets asters planetai, or “wandering stars,” as they are in constant motion through the heavens against the fixed backdrop of the zodiac. Most of the time, planets move forward through the zodiac along a path we call the ecliptic, which is essentially the main highway. Now and then, though, planets depart from the straight and narrow to do a little extra wandering. But not all who wander are lost.

Retrograde planets are essentially seekers—not only going against the normal flow, eschewing forward motion, but also ditching the path altogether in favor of some winding side roads. This does not necessarily mean things are bound to go wrong, but it does mean that we on Earth are called to disengage auto-pilot, be observant, take our time, and take a lot less for granted.

Mercury is the planet of communication, commerce, and movement. Because it’s involved in almost all day-to-day activity, Mercury retrogrades—and their accompanying departures from the usual and the ordinary—are typically quite noticeable. If we release our expectations, this can be a fun and exciting shift.

MERCURY RETROGRADE AND WATER SIGNS

The three Mercury retrogrades of 2019 occur predominantly in the water signs of Pisces, Cancer, and Scorpio. In fact, due to some extra meandering, Mercury is slated to spend more time in the three water signs than just about all the other signs combined.

Water is receptive in nature, so the effects of Mercury retrograde in this element can be subtler when compared to its occurrence in others. Water has no shape of its own, taking on the shape of its surroundings; and with water, most of the interesting things are happening below the surface. Likewise, you may notice that something feels different before you can fully discern exactly what it is. You’re likely to feel unusually susceptible to the moods of others or the nature of your surroundings. Conversely, you may be able to affect the group vibe through emotional appeals. Water tends to unify and pool together in large bodies, so popularity can swing in great tides this year. An example? The enormously popular new age books The Celestine Prophecy and The Secret were both released during years with Mercury retrogrades in water signs.

YOUR SIGN AND THE TRANSIT

Water Signs: Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces

Some of the people, places, and things that are the most central to your life are likely to shift this year, and thus the way you feel about them could as well. The great news is that while you can’t control these changes, you can control your reactions to them; in this way, you could become a port in the storm for weary travelers. At the same time, you may find that there are things about your own basic identity that you actually want to change—and with a similar kind of support, these periods may be the perfect time to seek something new.

Fire Signs: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius

Water is your opposite element: in any direct interaction, water puts out your fire or you heat it to a boiling point. Therefore, an indirect approach is likely best. If you can take some time to rest and cool off, then the embers of your fire become easier for others to handle. As such, when things veer from the normal course, don’t allow yourself to get worked up—just pull over and take in the view for a bit. Curb your desire to go it alone and either ask for help or commiserate with others on your detour. You may just find a short cut together.

Earth Signs: Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn

You may have to put aside your natural practicality, relax your boundaries, and go with the flow. Allow yourself to feel as much as you think, and to honor your connections. Try to sense the universal messages always surrounding you.

Air Signs: Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius

Slow down, practice doing less, and notice that things tend to work out on their own—particularly when you don’t over-react. When things don’t naturally coalesce, notice the deeper source of the issue. Lessen the discordant voices and increase those that resonate with an organic harmony.

CALL IN THE POWER OF SPRING’S MOST MAGICAL TRANSITS

CALL IN THE POWER OF SPRING’S MOST MAGICAL TRANSITS

Astrological magic had its heyday in the medieval period, when kings and queens ruled the lands. Magic can be seen as metaphorical attempts to gain the favor of the sovereign, and many of the stipulations around when to practice magic are based around the idea of finding the ruler in a good mood, willing and able to help. Planets traversing one of their favorite places, known as dignities, symbolize just such rulers—those who are content in their special place and willing to marshal resources to the aid of those they favor.

DIURNAL SECT IN DIGNITIES

After the sun moves into Aries on March 20, a period begins in which Jupiter, Saturn, and the sun are all in signs of their dignity. These three planets belong to what was called the diurnal sect. This means that they are fundamentally yang, or masculine, in nature, and so are seen to exert their greatest powers in the daytime. Together, these three happy and helpful rulers signify propitious opportunities for bold forceful action (sun in Aries), forward-looking and expansive enterprises (Jupiter in Sagittarius), and structured approaches toward long term objectives (Saturn in Capricorn). Thus, the period from March 20 until April 10—when Jupiter turns retrograde—represents a rare opportunity to combine and harness all three of these magical influences at once. This is especially true on Sunday, April 7 as the sun applies to trine Jupiter and the feminine/nocturnal planets Venus and the moon are also in their dignities, for a total of five out of seven classical planets in signs of their dignity.

VENUS CONJUNCT FOMALHAUT

Another condition for magical activity is when planets are conjunct bright stars. The stars give gifts of power and protection from beyond the spheres of the planets, a sign of eminence. On Friday, March 29 Venus is conjunct Fomalhaut, one of the four stars identified as “royal” by the Persians. Venus is already in Pisces, a sign of her dignity, and Friday also belongs to Venus, so we have three magical conditions converging. Early risers can capture the Venus hour, as well (the first hour after Sunrise always belongs to the planet of the day). All of this Venus magic is conducive to using personal charisma for bringing people and things together in a state of unity, harmony, and spiritual peace. However, since Venus is in a waning phase visually—becoming gradually lower and dimmer—it may be helpful to surrender or give away one gift or blessing in our lives in order to discover another.

MERCURY CONJUNCT SIRIUS

On Wednesday, June 12 we have a conjunction of the star Sirius by the planet Mercury. Sirius is not only the brightest star in the sky but also one of fifteen Behenian stars considered to have special magical powers; Sirius was said to grant favor and also bring peace and accord. Since this is Mercury’s day, we can assume this peace is brokered through communication, negotiation, or exchange. This magic comes just in time and appears to be an opportunity to diffuse the very powerful opposition forming between Mars in Cancer and Saturn in Capricorn, with the moon in Libra offering additional assistance. Seek to broker peace through direct communication, if possible. If not, you can still call on the powers of Sirius and Mercury for help. Each of the Behenian stars has an accompanying herb, stone, and image or sigil used to access its powers. For Sirius, the herb is juniper and the stone is beryl. Combine these with the sigils for Sirius and Mercury along with incense and prayers for peace and harmony between powerful opposing forces.

Your Daily Cosmic Calendar for Tuesday, March 5

COSMIC CALENDAR

If you read yesterday’s calendar entry, you are aware that Messenger of the Gods Mercury is halting its direct motion in the heavens (10:21 a.m. at 30 degrees of Pisces) and beginning a retrograde cycle that lasts until March 28. Take a good look at the following themes associated with this crucial planet—communication, learning and primary education, words and language, transportation and travel plans, business and trade, messages and paperwork, health and medical concerns, the five senses, air and breathing, wind and temperature changes, as well as acts of apparent magic, sleight of hand, and theft. Don’t fall prey to marketing strategies and sales pitches that aim at hoodwinking you to sign an agreement that will end with regret.

Some ten hours earlier there is a 6-minute void lunar zone that starts at 12:06 a.m. and ends when the moon enters Pisces at 12:12 a.m. Be aware that the dark-of-the-moon monthly cycle that always occurs shortly before the new moon is building all of today since the next solar-lunar rendezvous occurs tomorrow. In addition, it is realistic to anticipate a possible rise in anxiety due to the sun forming an abrasive, 45-degree aspect with idiosyncratic and unconventional Uranus (12:40 p.m.), plus Uranus shifting from the end of Aries to the beginning of Taurus at 12:28 a.m. tomorrow.

Another source of either clarity or uncertainty is a fairly rare Vesta-Neptune convergence at 17 degrees of Pisces (5:10 p.m.). Safety and security matters, insurance coverage and investment planning, sisterhood and fellowship gatherings are definitely in the cosmic spotlight for everyone now and on Wednesday.

Good Tuesday Morning To All The Witches Gathered This Morn’! May The Goddess Bless You Today & Always!

Good Morning

Sorry, we are running late. I was looking at the obituaries to see if I was still alive this morning or not. Just kidding. There are several things I have to get done this morning. Most of the time when I have a lot of things to get done, I tell you to go over to the Commentary Gazette to view today’s posts. I got to thinking, why not bring the posts I put over there, over here. Genius, I know, ha! If you believe that I have some good water front property for sale, real cheap too. So to mix things up, we are going to do the posts I do over at the Commentary Gazette here this morning. Mix things up a bit, I know you get tired of the same old same old, so change for one day never hurt anything(I don’t think or at least don’t hope). So I am doing the posts I normally do over there, over here today.

I want to get two things done today. One I will, the other one will take a day or two, I am sure. First one, is to revise the front page of this site. The second is to start building the long awaited “Pagans In Action,” site. That will take a few days I know. For the next few days, I would ask that you have patience with us. You know what we are doing and it is for a good cause. Right now there are disasters all over the place and these people could use our help. So that site should be up and running now but unfortunate it isn’t. I can guarantee you it will be shortly.

Now I am off and running or else I won’t get anything I have put on the back burner for several weeks done. I hope you enjoy the posts today. It will be something different but it doesn’t hurt to break up our routine occasionally.

Have a very blessed Tuesday,

Love ya,

Lady A

One more thought….

Stop by and support your local witch, lol! Well if not your favorite witch, then your favorite organization. Remember all the proceeds from the sales from our store help pay our daily operating expenses and costs. All purchases no matter how small or how large are greatly appreciated and they go to help us to continue to operate. Got a moment, stop by and check it out. Right now, free shipping on orders of $50.00 or more.

Witches of the Craft Online Store

I can’t help it, you will probably hear about the store for a while. I pulled up a costly template, put it side by side my white blank screen and when to town. I made the store from copying another template just by eye balling it. So, yeah, I am sort of proud of it. Check it out if you haven’t done so yet.

Love ya,

Lady A

Planet Tracker for March 4: The Moon in Aquarius

The Moon in Aquarius: Quirky, Humanitarian, Independent

Mar 2, 2019 – Mar 5, 2019

Before we talk specifically about the Moon in Aquarius, let’s first talk about the Moon for a moment. Astrologers consider the Moon a planet, and because it moves so quickly it passes through each of the 12 zodiac signs once every month. Just as the Sun has a placement in our birth chart, so does the Moon.

Regardless of what your sign is, for a couple of days each month we all get drawn into the influence of the Aquarius Moon. This is the time when we’re more inclined to march to the beat of our own drum. Aquarius is anything but cookie-cutter, and this lunation will have us trying to figure out what it is that makes us unique so that we can share it with the world.

Aquarians are social butterflies, making friends and influencing people wherever they go. This isn’t surprising considering Aquarius rules the 11th House of Friendships! When the Moon moves into this gregarious sign, you’ll feel the urge to call your friends, make plans, and get out and interact with those around you.

The Aquarius Moon could also have you feeling a little but more rebellious and spontaneous than usual. You may crave freedom and a distraction from your everyday life. If you’ve been feeling stuck in a rut, this is when you’ll decide to change up your routine or break old habits.

New Moon in Aquarius

New Moons are times of new emotional cycles and planting seeds for whatever we want to come next. The futuristic Aquarius New Moon encourages us to cut our past loose, or at least some of the things that we’re still hung up on. Aquarius is cool and detached, ideal for making a clean break from things that are no longer serving us so that we can boldly step into the next phase of our lives.

Our innovative spirit is off the charts with the New Moon in unconventional Aquarius! When the Sun and Moon team up in this brainy sign, we have a greater ability to expand our perceptions and come up with bright ideas. Aquarius sometimes dreams up concepts so far ahead of its time that they cannot be applied to current circumstances. However, the New Moon helps put us in touch with reality so that we can bring these groundbreaking insights back down to earth.

Full Moon in Aquarius

This Full Moon occurs when the cooperative Aquarius Moon opposes the individualistic Leo Sun. This cosmic coupling allows us see the difference between satisfying ourselves (Leo) and collaborating with others (Aquarius), and helps us understand the relationship between teamwork and individuality. The community-conscious Aquarius Full Moon reminds us that we are part of something larger than ourselves, and that acting on our ideas and ideals will benefit everyone.

You’ll probably wonder where your invitation is because it’s always a party when the Full Moon is in Aquarius! Full Moons spark an increase in activity and energy, and Aquarius is one of the most outgoing signs in the zodiac. You’ll be more apt to let your hair down and have a good time during this fun-loving Full Moon.
