Today is the most difficult time in the lives of our family and friends in Newtown. Today, they start to say their final goodbyes to their loved ones. I have a poem that I call to memory when I think about my loved ones that have passed on. I would like to share it with you. Also I would like to list each of these victims by name. These children and adults are not only Newtown’s but ours also. Light a candle and say a prayer for the families they have left behind.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,

I am not there; I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow,

I am the diamond glints on snow,

I am the sun on ripened grain,

I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning’s hush

I am the swift uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circling flight.

I am the soft starlight at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry,

I am not there; I did not die.
