Items You Will Need:

  • 5 white candles
  • salt

The Spell:

Draw Pentagram with salt.
Place the candles at the 5 points.
If there are more than one of you stand around the circle of the Pentagram holding hands.
Chant together.. “I call forth from space and time.
Matriarchs from the ____________ line: Mothers, Daughters, Fathers, Sons.
Our Family’s spirit without end, to Gather now in this place and help us! “

  1. Silly question, do I have to light the candles? I don’t have access to a lighter or matches. Is there a substitute action I could do?

    1. And I am probably going to give you a sillier answer! Got any flashlights, small ones? I have summoned things in my lifetime and I can tell you some of them you don’t want to be in the dark with. In this case, you are opening a portal. You might get who you seek and you might not, truthfully. It has been known to happen. You can have an entity or spirit that hears the name of the individual you are calling and they come and pretend to be them. It happens often when using the Ouija board, who is to say it won’t happen here. Something you should be made aware of, seriously. Light is important in this care, not so much the light but the fire it represents. If you have some small penlight flashlights they might work, I seriously don’t know. Never tried them in a spell or ritual. You could give it a whirl. There are also flameless candles that you can buy, they might work out as well.
