Good Wednesday morning, dear family! How’s your day going so far? I sincerely hope it is going better than mine. Mine sucks a rotten egg. I ought to know when it rains it pours, or at least on me it does. I got in the truck yesterday to go pay a bill and mail one. Well on the way back a funny noise starting coming out from under the hood. It sounds like the fly wheel is getting ready to go through the motor. Lovely, all I need stranded in the boonies. Then today, I go to wash a load of clothes and the washer won’t drain. It won’t even spin. I have been on the internet all morning comparing prices on A/C units. The A/C is out and I am not spending another year with the temps in the 100′s without one. I did last year and thought I was going to die. I finally broke down and got Kiki and me a small kid’s swimming pool. We stayed in it all day. Now if this enough to drive one person crazy I don’t know what is? Almost out of a truck, no washer and no A/C. I am not even going to say what’s next. No way!
Then to top everything off, that little kitten, Olive, I told you about. The half starved to death one. Her side were so sunk in that they met. Oh, made me sick. Well she disappeared for a day and a half. I figured the coyotes got her and I would never see her again. She showed up about a day ago and guess what? She now has a broken tail! Yep, a broken tail. I have never seen anything in the world like it. Just this poor limp tail following behind this little cat. I know she must have been coming in heat by the way the male cats around here were acting. I kept them off of her. So I am wondering if one of them broke it trying to mate with her.
I swear, I am the luckiest witch in Western Kentucky! A limp tailed pussy, no washer, no A/C and a truck that’s about had it. If I thought the truck would make it, I would sell it all and just disappear into the woodwork. Ever have one of these kind of days?
Well I have cried enough on your shoulder. I better get my rump to work or else I will be crying about people leaving the site . Oh, we don’t have a thing fixed a head of time. We have all been bailing water and cussing and fussing at the washer. So have patience we will get everything out I promise.
Darn I hope you have a better day than us. If you do, please enjoy it for me too.
Love and Hugs,
We’re off to the races in pursuit of pleasure this week. Wednesday’s impetuous Aries New Moon joins with magnetic Venus and ardent Mars to create sparks of electricity and accelerate our desire for romance. Restlessness can drive us to take risks, but there’s more joy to be gained by spicing up relationships with excitement and living for the moment rather than trying to recapture the past.
Your personal life is about to blast into uncharted territory with a dramatic New Moon landing in your sign on Wednesday morning. Flirty Venus and your passionate (and sometimes pushy) ruling planet Mars join this lunation to incite adventurous behavior. Experiment with a different look, fresh attitude or new activities to raise the stakes in the game of love. No risk, no reward. Mercury zips into fast-talking Aries on Saturday night to embolden your message with the heat of the moment. Mixing sweet and spicy should make you irresistibly delicious.
Wednesday’s volatile Aries New Moon falling in your 12th House of Secrets can shock you with a sudden change of circumstances or unexpected desires. You can’t hide your feelings once the evocative Moon slips into your sign later that night. Attraction to someone who isn’t emotionally available might be tempting, yet serves as a springboard for passion expressed elsewhere. If you look at yourself from the outside, you will see a bright inner light that is sometimes overlooked. Sharing what you find will warm anyone’s heart.
Friday is relatively quiet with the placid Taurus Moon traveling through your 12th House of Invisibility. Private time spent alone or with one undemanding individual is where you feel most comfortable now. Then the social lights grow brighter when the Moon moves into your communicative sign on Saturday morning. Your friendly curiosity makes you a natural at meeting new people. Later that night your key planet Mercury fires into impatient Aries to elevate your flirting game to another level for the next two weeks.
Wednesday’s New Moon in your 10th House of Authority can spur you to take the lead in public and private matters. You could be inspired to organize a big social event, or you might realize that now’s the time for you to pursue love with all your heart. Be direct in going after who and what you want. If you feel rejected, dust yourself off and try again instead of backing up. Reaching for fulfillment requires another shot of courage and rewards you with greater confidence.
You’re itching for a passionate ride with a midweek New Moon in bold Aries and your 9th House of Adventure. The desire to expand your romantic horizons can spark impulsive behavior that shakes up a current relationship. But settling for less with your partner or as a single person is not your best option now. It’s healthier to initiate changes, even if they seem a little risky, than to avoid the challenge of trying for more. Sharing your heart is the most generous thing you can do.
Wednesday’s fiery Aries New Moon in your 8th House of Intimacy is charged with passion and desire. Acting impulsively to get where you want to go is appropriate this week. If moving closer to someone is your goal, playing it cool will not do the trick. Trying different ways to heat up your current relationship or to find someone new could take you to the unfamiliar places where romantic breakthroughs can be made. Your key planet Mercury enters feisty Aries on Saturday night, inspiring you to speak up and express your heart.
Your romantic life gets a blast of heat with a magnetic Aries New Moon firing up your 7th House of Partners on Wednesday. The close proximity of your amorous ruling planet Venus and sexy Mars intensifies relationships. An impatient but charming individual may make an instantaneous impression if you’re acting shy. But if you take the initiative in relationships, your powers of attraction can reach the sky.
The Moon’s transit into sensual Taurus on Wednesday night steams up your 7th House of Partners, indicating that playing it safe could leave you feeling unsatisfied. Conditions change quickly on Saturday morning when the Moon slips into flirtatious Gemini and your 8th House of Intimacy. Having fun is more important than being secure, which may mean you will need to let go of control to make the most of this experience. Let yourself fully enjoy the moment without worrying about the future.
Take care of business early this week because opportunities for pleasure start popping up all over the place on Wednesday. The excitable Aries New Moon, hot with conjunctions to lovely Venus and energetic Mars, sets off fireworks in your 5th House of Romance. You’re charged up with passion and playfulness, making you the life of the party. Another wave of joy arrives on Saturday morning when the Moon skips into talkative Gemini and your 7th House of Partners. Appreciate all the blessings in your life and let your friends and family know how much you love them.
Wednesday’s emotionally charged Aries New Moon lands in your 4th House of Roots, stirring up passion that provokes you to take risks. It’s great, though, to stretch outside of your comfort zone by being more spontaneous. Yes, it might shake up a current relationship, but you need more stimulation to keep it fresh and interesting. If you’re single, start by changing yourself first to attract the kind of companionship that will make you happy.
Pleasure may be found just about anywhere this week as casual conversations can heat up and lead to intense discussions. Speaking frankly is especially attractive to others when the Moon jumps into chatty Gemini and your 5th House of Romance on Saturday morning. Just don’t take yourself too seriously in the process of having fun. If you’re open-minded and really listen to what others say, you are likely to find an appreciative companion to join you for a playful encounter this weekend.
Don’t spend too much time looking backward and reminiscing about the past this week. On Wednesday morning, the impetuous Aries New Moon blasts your 2nd House of Self-Worth with exciting images, ideas and activities that reveal multiple pathways for finding love. Trust your intuition; let your vivid imagination light the fire you need to heal romantic wounds and put your relationship life on the fast track.

What has traditionally been known as the Moon card refers to a deep state of sensitivity and imaginative impressionability, developed within a womb of deep relaxation. Here we dream and go into trance, have visions and receive insights, wash in and out with the psychic tides, and experience deep mystical and/or terrifying realities beyond our ordinary senses. The full moon and/or eclipse cycle charted by the Magi (as in some of the earliest Moon card images) exemplify this as a mechanism that Nature uses to expand consciousness.
The variants of the courtly lovers (representing skillful use of the sex force) or the man sleeping it off under the tree (use of drugs to alter consciousness) are also traditional avenues for tapping this primal force. Human interest in higher states propels us to the frontiers of consciousness, where we cannot always control what happens. The Moon card represents the ultimate test of a soul’s integrity, where the membrane between self and the Unknown is removed, and the drop of individuality reenters the Ocean of Being. What transpires next is between a soul and its Maker.
New sources of stimulation are needed to inspire love this week with flirtatious Venus joining revolutionary Uranus on Thursday. Sudden attractions to people, objects and experiences can be extremely exciting, but they might not last very long. Breaking patterns and breaking rules is fun but dangerous with surprising consequences to follow. Balancing risk with reason is essential during these tumultuous times.
You could find yourself on the front lines of a romantic revolution this week. Wednesday’s Libra Full Moon lands in your 7th House of Relationships, where it opposes Venus, Mars, Uranus and the Sun in Aries. Wow, that’s a blast of energy that can bring a sleepy partnership back to life or draw you to someone who is not your usual type. Exploring new territory is always fun for you Rams, but avoid making long-term commitments for now.
Start your weekend early when the Moon moves into sexy Scorpio and your 7th House of Partners on Thursday night. The passion of this lunar transit is amplified by sexy aspects to your loving ruling planet Venus. Her conjunctions with the creative Sun and experimental Uranus put you in the mood to take chances. Shaking up your personal patterns by living for the moment without thinking about tomorrow is a liberating change of pace for you Bulls. Just be careful not to make any promises before you know what your heart truly wants.
You have a perfect opportunity to get your point across on Thursday, when your ruling planet Mercury trines ambitious Saturn. The path to romance opens wide late on Saturday night, when the Moon charges into exuberant Sagittarius and your 7th House of Partners. However, you might experience an emotional dip with an intense Venus-Pluto square lurking in the background. But then the love planet moves into a friendly alignment with lucky Jupiter on Sunday, which could be your ticket to paradise. Make room in your schedule to fully enjoy the delicious goodies that are likely to come your way.
The security you often seek could be hard to find this week. Wednesday’s Libra Full Moon is rattled by oppositions from flirty Venus, irrepressible Mars and unpredictable Uranus, shaking up your partnership patterns and your regular routines. If you’re looking for someone new or trying to reignite desire with your current mate, you won’t be disappointed with the fireworks at your disposal. The evocative Moon shifts into sister water sign Scorpio on Thursday night, adding an extra dose of intensity to your feelings until late Saturday night. Wearing your heart on your sleeve is likely, but it’s best to stay in the present moment where you can experience excitement without having to make any guarantees about the future.
Surprising conversations or new sources of attraction can electrify relationships this week. The usually accommodating Libra Full Moon on Wednesday is charged up with sexiness and spontaneity. Be careful about what you say, because your words may provoke strong reactions. People from faraway places and individuals with unconventional opinions will produce plenty of thrills, but also an equal amount of uncertainty. You will feel more in your comfort zone once the Moon fires into carefree Sagittarius late on Saturday night, boosting your sense of adventure to new heights.
Planets are popping in your 8th House of Intimacy, especially after Wednesday night’s Full Moon in the relationship sign Libra. Your key planet Mercury trines sensible Saturn on Thursday, enabling you to express your needs in a practical fashion. However, the logic that often guides your actions can disappear in an instant of desire for someone new or with a sudden rift with your current partner. Financial issues could take you by surprise now, but even thoughtful discussions may not hold back the tides of change. Adopting a flexible attitude reduces stress and welcomes pleasure.
Get ready for a rocket ship ride toward romance this week. Wednesday’s Full Moon in your sign puts you in the bright spotlight, and its opposition to vivacious Venus attracts unusual and exciting people. The love planet’s proximity to sexy Mars adds spice to your personal life, while the presence of rebellious Uranus stirs feelings of restlessness and an urge to break all the rules. Finding safe ways to step outside of your usual social boundaries brings lots of fun without causing too much trouble.
Adapting to circumstances that seem to be beyond your control may be necessary this week. The planets are crackling with electricity, which can make for some thrilling moments, but sticking with a plan won’t be easy. Friday could be an emotional test as the Scorpio Moon joins serious Saturn and challenges you to make a tough decision. But it’s essential to examine ideas carefully to make sure that your mind accurately reflects your heart.
This looks like a very lively week in relationships with Thursday’s hook-up of magnetic Venus and electric Uranus occurring in your 5th House of Romance. Taking time to play in new and different ways is not only fun, but gets you plenty of attention, too. The weekend starts off on a calmer and cooler note, though, until the Moon rockets into your enthusiastic sign on Saturday night to put you right back into the game of love.
Wednesday’s Libra Full Moon opposes a passel of planets in your 4th House of Roots, which is likely to arouse unexpected feelings. Whether it’s a shake-up in your home, a restless feeling in your gut or both, changes are to be expected. Do your best to break free of old prejudices and tastes from the past and you just might find surprising forms of pleasure to enliven your current relationship or while seeking the company of someone new. Messenger Mercury trines your key planet Saturn on Thursday, inspiring you to discover new ways to express your heart.
This could be an amazing week of discovery in your relationship life. Your unconventional ruling planet Uranus is in the middle of all the action with radical conjunctions to romantic Venus and the expressive Sun. Wednesday’s Full Moon lights up your 9th House of Faraway Places, inspiring a feeling of wanderlust that makes it nearly impossible to sit still. Yet your reward may be unexpected sources of delight because pleasure comes where you least expect to find it.
You have a rich imagination and applying it in unusual ways puts you in tune with this week’s wild planetary patterns. A radical shift of appearance or attitude might shock those who know you best and make you feel a little strange at first. But positive change can also give you an extra boost of confidence that enables you to attract more attention. Don’t be afraid to shake up the status quo with Thursday’s electrifying Full Moon shining in your 8th House of Deep Sharing. Flowing with your feelings this weekend takes you exactly where you want to go.
9: Small Influences
Wednesday, Feb 27th, 2013
A gentle wind gathers the clouds, but still, no rain. Softer influences predominate as the power of subtle forces grows. This is a time for smooth and friendly persuasion.
In the ebb and flow of events, there are always ‘low tides’ — times when sweeping action is impossible or inappropriate, but when small matters can be attended to profitably, leading to bigger and better things later on. When the tide is rolling in, by all means, ride the wave; but when it is receding like it is now, focus on little things.
When the times are such that you cannot do much to affect large matters, persuasion and subtle influence can prepare the way for strength in the future. Use your intuition to chart your long-term course, but avoid bold actions for the moment, for they are unlikely to work. This is an excellent time to refine existing abilities or develop new talents.
Be wary of others’ intentions if they hold the upper hand in a situation. Examine their sources of power, so as to discover subtle influences you may be able to exert upon them.
8: Holding Together
Wednesday, Feb 20th, 2013
Holding together brings success. But high-level teamwork is achieved only when the right players on the right team share a clear goal at the right time. A team forms its relationships in a delicate manner; chemistry is brewed in the vat of shared experiences. Latecomers cannot share the same depth of union as earlier members. Whole-hearted commitment is required for team success.
All successful teams have a shared vision and a leader. If a team’s leadership is up to the challenge, the team will prosper. In personal and business affairs, just as in basketball, it is hard to win without a strong center.
Accept the structure of the team or partnership if you wish to receive its benefits — otherwise go off on your own. In holding together with others, cling to your own principles, but be willing to subordinate your personal desires for the good of the group. Perhaps you are contemplating becoming a leader of some group; remember that to become the center of influence binding people together is not only a considerable challenge but a serious responsibility. Assess yourself carefully first to see if you are up to the task. If not, it would be better not to commit rather than to go forward without proper preparation.
