Today’s ‘American Diabetes Association Alert Day’ is one that’s close to my heart and my pancreas. I strongly urge everyone to have their blood sugar levels checked on a regular basis. In fact, cinnamon can help to regulate those numbers in an all-natural way. Research has proven that taking a half-teaspoon of cinnamon a day can result in improved blood glucose levels. Of course, regular exercise and controlling carbohydrate intake are also required to turn diabetes around, but starting on this spice road will be a good beginning towards better health.
