A Little About June Birth Symbols

June Babies

“The air is like a butterfly, With frail blue wings. The happy earth looks at the sky, And sings.” —Joyce Kilmer

Zodiac: Gemini until June 21 and Cancer from June 22

Gemstone: Pearl
The pearl has long been associated with purity. Pearls are the only gems that come from living sea creatures, and they’re also unique in that they require no faceting or polishing to reveal their beauty. Today, most pearls are cultured, grown under controlled conditions by farmers to ensure perfect shape.

Flower: Rose, Honeysuckle
A rose’s color signifies different meanings: red means “I love you,” pink means perfection and white is innocence. Honeysuckle, June’s other flower, stands for the strong bonds of love.

Tree: Ash, Hornbeam, Fig, Birch, Apple

June’s birth flower is the rose, which has more meanings than one can count! A pink rose means perfect happiness, while a red rose means “I love you.” A white rose signifies innocence and purity, while a yellow rose conveys jealousy or a decrease in love. A bouquet of roses means sincere gratitude, whereas a single rose amplifies the meaning of the color (a single red rose means “I REALLY love you”). The other June flower is honeysuckle, which is a strong symbol for the everlasting bonds of love.

June Birthstone – Pearl

The month of June is represented by the pearl. “Pearl” is derived from the Latin word “pirum”, meaning pear, which is the shape that many pearls take on naturally when they grow. Many ancient civilizations have told a variety of stories and the birth of the pearl. The Greeks believed that they were tears of joy that had been hardened when they were shaken from the eyes of the goddess of love when she was born in the sea. Arabs believe that they were formed when oysters were lured by the light of the moon from the depths of the seas. The moon would leave dewdrops of its light, which would be swallowed by the oysters and taken back with them to their deep oceanic homes. The Chinese in ancient times thought they came from the brain of a dragon.

Specific gemstones are utilized to symbolize our birth-month according to the Gregorian or Western Calendar. Each month of the year brings in a new cycle. For many of you reading this, there needs to be no mention of what one might feel from the energy emitted from each stone representing each month and season. The cycles of each season have their own meaning and energy. Aligning with the changing times, each gemstone can increase our spiritual and mental energies. Many of these yearly shifts compromise our bodies, our immunity, mental health. Many have believed for centuries specific gemstones can counter these affects, granting strength and even cure ailments that might come with each season.

The formation of the pearl is as mystical as its history. For oysters to create a pearl, a small irritant, usually a small fish or parasite would lodged itself in the flesh of the oyster. The presence of the fish or parasite would then cause the oyster create what is called a “nacre”. This nacre grows over the intruder layer after layer and creates a luxurious pearl. As natural pearls are rare, man has created a process in which a small bead or piece of shell is placed inside the mollusk, stimulating the nacre production. This practice makes up about ninety percent of the pearl industry. They are harvested all over the world from the South Pacific, Gulf of California, Gulf of Mexico and its Pacific coast, Gulf of Manmar, the Persian Gulf, Europe, Japan and Australia.

At one time, Royalty were the only ones who were allowed to wear jewelry with pearls. Eventually, they were seen worn by all status’ of culture. Pearls have been obsessed over and been a passion for many. They are the symbol of purity, enhances ones integrity, and are often times given as a gift celebrating the birth of a child or marriage. Pearls are viewed as a sign of refinement and good taste. White pearls are usually given as gifts, however there are a wide variety of spectrum that the pearl grows: white, silver, cream-colored, gold, green, blue and black.

Other interesting facts about the June Birthstone Pearl:

      May Birthstone – Emerald

      May Birthstone Emerald

The gemstone representing May, is the Emerald. As spring in the northern hemisphere occurs in May, the emerald stands for a time of rebirth and growth. The French refer to the emerald’s inclusions and fractures as “jardin’s”, translated as garden, resembling the color of spring foliage.

For each stone of the Gregorian calendar, each month of the year brings in a new cycle. Each cycle represents a new season, has a renewed energy, and a new meaning. The month of May is one of abundance and life in it’s youthful beauty. Following the rainy month of April, the month of May is one that symbolizes fresh, new, green life. The emerald as a precious stone for the month of May. Beautiful, fertile valleys blessed with rain are symbolic of the Emerald in that both offer energy both in a spiritual and physical sense giving sustenance for one who might own an Emerald and for those living within the valleys.

The emerald has been a symbol since the Egyptians engraved the stone with pictures of foliage. It would then be gifted to their deceased loved ones for their burials to represent eternal youth. It is the Egyptians who mined emeralds in the desert to the east over two-thousand years before the birth of Cleopatra. During her reign, this was her favorite stone, and even claimed one of the emerald mines as her own. She would bestow an emerald to a visiting dignitary on their departure. When the Spanish Conquistadors arrived in South America, they noticed that the natives were wearing some of the largest emeralds they had ever seen. They attempted to hide the mines from the Conquistadors, but were unsuccessful. Today, that area is known as Columbia, where some of the most prize emeralds are unearthed. There are sources of emeralds that have been found in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Brazil, Zimbabwe, and Russia.

The Romans regarded the emerald representative to the goddess of love, Venus. They wore the gem to honor Aphrodite, their adopted goddess of love for fertility, beauty and love. Their emperor, Nero had eyeglasses that were made of emerald so that he might watch the gladiators battle and maintain his eyes’ health, and to ease the strain upon his eyes.

These crystals grow slowly within the confines of metamorphic rock, making them rare and thus, very valuable and expensive, sometimes more so than diamonds. It represents wisdom, patience and growth. It often given as an anniversary gift, as these characteristics in a relationship are important. It also represents friendship, faithfulness and loyalty, and they have been utilized for the effective treatment of health issues related to fertility, eyes, spine and for headaches. The Emerald can prevent seizures, reduce fevers and stop bleeding.

Some other interesting facts about the May Birthstone Emerald:

-Mostly all Emeralds have been treated with an epoxy resin or oil to fill in surface cracks making them less visible

-Some of the oils used to treat Emeralds are clear, however, some are tinted green in order to make them appear more vivid

      -Mummies were buried with emeralds

-It is often times worn by travelers for luck and has legends of calming stormy seas

Your Love Horoscopes for Tuesday, February 3rd

Your Love Horoscopes for Tuesday, February 3rd

Aries Horoscope
(Mar 21 – Apr 19)
Just a day after Venus and Neptune’s alignment in a nostalgic part of your chart whipped up a potent cocktail of romantic nostalgia and fantasy, the timing of the Moon’s return to your romantic sector couldn’t be better. In the lead up to tomorrow’s Full Moon the doors to the past and second chances are being flung wide open.

Taurus Horoscope
(Apr 20 – May 20)
With so much focus on your relationships over the last few years you’re ready for some romance this year and that’s exactly what the love gods have on the menu. While you’ll have to wait until March for Venus, planet of love to return to your sign and until July for your luckiest year for love in over a decade to kick off, already there’s a chance and a need to make your life as love friendly as possible.

Gemini Horoscope
(May 21 – Jun 20)
Regardless of what happens next the Moon’s return to your communication sector today was always going to be an opportunity to give your emotional responses a voice and your relationships were always going to benefit. But due to become a Full Moon by tomorrow this is a chance to get the ball rolling on what is the potential for a communication and/or relationship breakthrough

Cancer Horoscope
(Jun 21 – Jul 22)
While the Moon’s departure from your sign will take away any personal and/or relationship tension over the last few days, chances are it’s left you with a much better sense of what you want from your relationships and what they need from you. This has been a reminder that in order to be true to your relationships you’ve first got to be true to yourself.

Leo Horoscope
(Jul 23 – Aug 22)
Even before tomorrow’s Full Moon has a chance to bring any personal and/or relationship tensions to a head, the Moon’s return to your sign today and opposition with Mercury in your relationship sector is set to get the ball rolling. While you’ve got a fairly bumpy 5 days in front of you, you’ve also got the potential for a communication and/or relationship breakthrough.

Virgo Horoscope
(Aug 23 – Sep 22)
As Venus and Mars spend their first full week together in your relationship sector for nearly 2 years, they’re both emerging from alignments that over the last few days have created an opportunity for healing and to recapture some of that old magic. For now it’s about fighting for a sense of what’s possible, with the reality checks needing to wait for another time.

Libra Horoscope
(Sep 23 – Oct 22)
Now in his final 10 days in retrograde motion in your romantic sector and holding the door open to second chances, a bit of pressure from the Moon today will do you and Mercury good, especially as any emotional responses come with a chance to give your heart, the past and unsaid words a voice.

Scorpio Horoscope
(Oct 23 – Nov 21)
Your challenge today is holding onto a sense of romantic fantasy and escapism that came to a head yesterday as the professional clouds begin rolling in. Yet while this might normally be a problem with Venus and Mars, the planets of love and passion spending their first full week together in your romantic sector in 2 years, the professional gods will have a real fight on their hands.

Sagittarius Horoscope
(Nov 22 – Dec 21)
With a sense of romantic anticipation already building ahead of Venus and Mars’ return to your romantic sector this month, the Moon’s return to an adventurous part of your chart ahead of tomorrow’s Full Moon is both a chance to get excited about the journey and to start challenging some of your excuses.

Capricorn Horoscope
(Dec 22 – Jan 19)
As the Moon leaves your relationship sector this will see any personal and/or relationship tension triggered over the last few days defuse, with this you’ll also lose a real opportunity to give your relationships a voice. This is an opportunity that needs to be seized, using any buttons that have been pushed over recent days as an opportunity for a communication and/or relationship breakthrough.

Aquarius Horoscope
(Jan 20 – Feb 18)
Today marks the start of what could be a trying few days on the relationship front, with the Moon’s return to your relationship sector not only due to culminate in a Full Moon tomorrow, but just as tensions are already rising. Yet rather than something to fear and especially not if you’re committed to ensuring the communication lines are open, this is an opportunity for a communication and/or relationship breakthrough.

Pisces Horoscope
(Feb 19 – Mar 20)
As the Moon’s monthly visit to your romantic sector wraps up yesterday’s alignment between Venus and dreamy Neptune also ends, with your challenge being to hold onto the romantic sentiment and escapism created over the last few days. For it’s today that life’s realities start demanding your attention, with a need to fight to ensure they’re not entirely successful.

Your Horoscopes for Tuesday, February 3

Your Horoscopes for Tuesday, February 3

March 21 – April 19
Old habits die hard. Much usually has to do with lack of desire on our part to release ourselves from them. We prefer predictability over possibility. You are being presented with an option now that involves either staying with what is predictable, even if it’s far from ideal in many ways, or taking a risk that involves removing yourself from what has grown familiar and comfortable to something else that has a very big question mark hanging over it in terms of comfort and stability it offers. Yet, it offers much in the way of excitement. That alone might be all you need to move.

April 20 – May 20
In Looney Tunes cartoons, characters wheel a television-looking device into the front of another character and this acts as an X-ray, showing what bizarre item they’ve consumed. Wouldn’t it be handy if such a device existed that could show what thoughts were contained in the heads of others? Wouldn’t it be helpful if we could get an instant snapshot of what someone else was thinking? You might find yourself growing increasingly weary with someone proving difficult to read now but it’s important you don’t treat any cautiousness on their part with suspicion.

May 21 – June 21
There’s an old saying about how we should only fight battles we know we stand a chance of winning. That’s another way of saying we should ‘play it safe’ wherever possible. The sky isn’t suggesting or encouraging your involvement in a battle but it is strongly encouraging you to recognize your limits in a certain area and do only what you’re capable of doing, nothing more. Don’t see this is as taking an ‘easy way out’. See it as being sensible and making the most sensible use of time and abilities.

June 22 – July 22
Slowly but surely, certain facts are emerging that are shedding helpful light on an area of your world where there has been much uncertainty and confusion. You’ve tried your best to piece together pieces of a proverbial jigsaw puzzle and have struggled to see anything resembling a helpful or accurate picture. In the light of new information that has either presented itself recently or is the process of doing so now, you have discovered the reality to a situation has been surprising, to say the least. Embrace and appreciate the fact that you are dealing now with facts, not assumptions.

July 23 – August 22
Your patience is being tested in some way. You’re dealing with one or possibly more volatile and even confused individuals and to say they have different ideas about a shared matter is an understatement. You’re being looked to though in some way for support or guidance. The best support or guidance you can offer now is sensitivity and, if required, sympathy. You needn’t fear losing out in some way or that your kindness will be taken advantage of. In fact, through displaying it, you stand to gain more than you might have. So relax and be supportive.

August 23 – September 22
‘Here’s one I prepared earlier’. TV chefs and children’s presenters making crafts often say such words. They need to accelerate time, therefore they skip straight to what something will look like if those watching do the necessary steps properly. In a similar way, allow yourself to be distracted by an opportunity presenting itself. If you can, then you will discover that what you return to has evolved in a very helpful way. It will have evolved in a way that can be used in ways it wasn’t earlier or will have saved you time in moving forward.

September 23 – October 22
It’s easy for us to ignore ‘the bigger picture’. We get so caught up with here and now or issues that appear to be so demanding in the present that we fail to see how they might be little more than helpful stepping stones for the future. In an area of your world, you appear to have made concerted effort to put a previous episode behind you in the belief that it needs to remain hidden. Expect soon to see how helpful and integral it is to what’s unfolding soon. It had a definite part to play in the greater scheme of things and soon, resentment will be replaced with gratitude.

October 23 – November 21
It’s a case of two heads being better than one. It’s also a case of getting someone on your side in the right way if something wonderful is to be achieved. You can choose to ‘lay down the law’ and make clear you’re not interested in someone else’s opinion and receive from them a half-hearted effort in some way, or you can make clear how willing you are to collaborate and share what needs doing. The latter will result in them being keener to share whatever-it-is with you. The choice is one you’re being presented with now. Working together has to be a better option?

November 22 – December 21
You don’t want grand gestures or lengthy conversations. You just want to know where you stand and to be able to pursue something close to your heart based on the fact that you’re doing so with clarity that doesn’t appear to be forthcoming presently. You’re having to make educated guesses where you would prefer to be pursuing something based on fact or confirmation on some level. You might believe likelihood of something becoming clearer is a long way away but it isn’t. Sooner than you probably think, what currently confuses you will be clearer.

December 22 – January 19
If you know how someone else is likely to react, how does that affect your reaction? Will you handle a sensitive situation more carefully – or does possibility exist that they might react in a way you hadn’t anticipated? You’re in a situation now where you believe you have accurate measure of how a tense discussion could go but the sky insists you ought to prepare for the unexpected and this could have noticeable influence on where the discussion then goes. Take each moment, one step at a time and be willing to deal with whatever arises as it arises.

January 20 – February 18
Think, if you can, of what’s occurring now as the equivalent of a film trailer. You’re being given glimpses into an unfolding situation but little more. What matters, or will matter more soon, is the full story that will emerge soon enough. That’s why you need not focus so intently on what’s happening in the present with the intention of trying to piece together a story that has yet to present itself in full. Relax, here and now. Let time pass before deciding what your next move should be.

February 19 – March 20
Some people are skilled at ‘engineering’ conversations. They know how to start them so they follow a pre-planned route. They then know how to steer the discussion so it ends at another pre-planned destination. This often causes the other person to wonder how on Earth the conversation went the way it did and ended where it did. It also causes them to wonder how they agreed with whatever it was they agreed. Be careful now of someone’s apparent skill to do something similar with you. You’re dealing with an expert. Do what you can to steer the conversation in a way that suits you, wherever possible.

Your Daily Horoscopes for Monday, February 2nd

Your Daily Horoscopes for Monday, February 2nd

March 21 – April 19
With effort, comes reward. However, we tend to have one idea about how we’d like to be rewarded and often discover the universe has another. When we receive what we believe to be a less than desirable reward or one that doesn’t exactly fill us with excitement or inspiration, we regard effort we made as a waste of time, or believe we were fooling ourselves in some way. To gain the most exciting and inspiring reward, you need to invest your effort toward what truly excites and inspires you now.

April 20 – May 20
How often do we associate negativity with challenge? We do have a tendency to equate difficulty with an inevitable negative result. It’s interesting we should do that, when you think about it. It says much about our faith and belief levels. That’s why, where you see the need to rise to a certain challenge now, you shouldn’t automatically assume it comes with a negative result. Don’t link difficulty with despondency. The only suggestion of failure is coming from you now and it is important to believe and trust that it is unfounded.

May 21 – June 21
There are limits to how much we can prepare for anything. Even top sporting champions reach a point where preparation must cease and what’s been prepared for must be faced. It can be helpful when we’re put in a position where we’re unable to procrastinate, too. We can sometimes find or even create reasons not to do something so there can be benefits when something we need to do is ‘time sensitive’. You don’t need to put yourself under unnecessary pressure now but, at the same time, don’t believe what you’re preparing yourself for can go on indefinitely.

June 22 – July 22
Some cooperation from a certain person wouldn’t go amiss. You could understandably wonder what more you’re supposed to do or say to get a desired response from a certain individual who seems to have their own idea about what level of obligation they have to respond. What’s needed here, as frustrating as it might be to hear, is more time. You can, however, be assured that you have done all you’re able to do or that’s sensible in the scheme of things. You’ve planted enough seeds. Now, leave them along briefly to grow and you will see chutes of hope before long.

July 23 – August 22
You’re being expected to be accommodating in many ways but, to do this, you need someone to make it easier for you to be accommodating. Their insistence they’re right about a particular matter and it’s you who has missed the point – or their belief that you’re the one being obstructive – isn’t helping matters. You have pride to take into account and as willing as you are to be obliging in one way, there are limits to what you’re prepared to tolerate. You know what those limits are. As you continue to be pushed in some way, someone else will soon recognize them.

August 23 – September 22
When we believe ourselves to be right about something, we don’t just ‘think’ we’re right. Something also often ‘feels’ right, too. No matter how we look at a particular issue, we see what we believe to be ‘right’ about it as conclusive and needing no further analyzing or discussion. So, when do problems arise? They arise when someone else feels exactly the same way about something you’re certain they’re wrong about! So, can two people be ‘right’ or must one be wrong? There are ways compromise can be reached now if you and someone else want it.

September 23 – October 22
Not so long ago, a television that showed a skewiffy picture could be fixed temporarily by giving it a hard whack. A quick adjustment and the picture would return. We can’t do quite the same thing to televisions these days. We need first to check satellite or cable connections before using an automatic tuning system. What worked once is definitely no longer applicable. Bear this in mind where an issue in your world is concerned. You might believe you automatically know from previous experience how to ‘fix’ it but might be surprised how outdated your approach might be!

October 23 – November 21
Softly, softly, will do it. As tempted as you might be to lay down the law or part someone’s hair with some not-so-carefully chosen words, a much better result will come from making a point calmly and, if possible, quietly. When people speak loudly, recipients of their words are usually too busy trying to focus on what’s coming next to take on board properly what’s being said. Don’t give someone a good reason to be defensive now. Say what does need saying in the way you’d want it said to you and you probably won’t go far wrong.

November 22 – December 21
What do we do with Wish Lists? Do we create them and then leave them lying around to be lost with newspapers or magazines that end up in garbage cans? Do we create them in electronic formats that get lost among countless other documents on storage systems? Most of our Wish Lists get stored in our brains and looked at occasionally, as if to remind ourselves of what we want but are unlikely to ever have. Regardless of what format your Wish List is in, it is time to review it. Once done, start looking at what your first step is to achieving what’s top of your list.

December 22 – January 19
Rarely, do the words ‘enough is enough’ get said without some level of weariness attached to them. We tend to say them only when we believe we’ve reached the end of a proverbial tether. Yet, when we reach a point where we know we must change a situation that has brought us to a state of weariness, then that must surely be something to be inspired about. We will be bringing an end to a tiring or repetitive situation we have wanted to see change. Where enough has become enough in your world, prepare to experience delight at being freed in some way.

January 20 – February 18
Is there ever any benefit to doing something impulsively? Aren’t we supposed to think through our actions at all times and consider all potential consequences? We can do so if we want to ‘play it safe’ throughout our lives. But, is that not a dull, uninspiring or unadventurous approach? Is there not more fun and enjoyment to be had sometime by simply seizing some opportunities and hanging consequences? The sky isn’t encouraging you to be irrational or irresponsible but it is suggesting you might enjoy being less reticent and more spontaneous in a certain area now.

February 19 – March 20
When two people want to be ‘singing from the same hymn sheet’ or thinking along the same lines, all that matters is one isn’t drowning out the other. When that happens, imbalance gets created and a situation then exists where one person makes the other feel smaller or inferior. This, in turn, eventually causes resentment unless something is done to nip it in the bud before that happens. You and someone else appear to want the same thing. Try not to express your desire for it in ways that are likely to cause ill feeling on someone else’s part.

Get A Jump On Tomorrow, Your Horoscopes for Sunday, January 25th

March 21 – April 19
There’s no feeling quite like that which we experience when we get our head or hand stuck in something. In theory, what went ‘in’ must therefore come ‘out’. We experience a similar feeling when we paint ourselves into a corner. We become aware of restriction that we have inadvertently created for ourselves that usually involves difficult backtracking in some way. In an area of your world now, you aren’t stuck or in a self-created restrictive situation. It just appears that way. Soon, you will see how you are able to free yourself.
April 20 – May 20
We are all captains of our own destinies. Where we are at this moment in time in each of our lives is the result of a series of decisions we made in the past. Does that mean we are in the ‘wrong’ place or ought to consider seriously why we are where we are? You have recently set in motion a process that is daunting and causes you to wonder if you truly possess abilities needed to see it through. Then, there are implications and concerns to address when you do see it through. You are where you are meant to be and can therefore relax in the knowledge you will succeed

May 21 – June 21
No journey is ever straightforward. Even Romans renowned for building straight roads had to take much into consideration in terms of how best to arrive at their destination safely. You probably wish the process you have put in place was more straightforward and the destination was clearer than it is but that doesn’t mean the inevitable twists and turns will prove problematic. What you’re experiencing now is an essential part of an essential journey and is nothing you need fear or be concerned about.
June 22 – July 22
It appears a certain person is confused and might have drawn very much the wrong conclusion about something that concerns of involves you. For some time, your instincts have probably told you something wasn’t right and you might need to put someone in the picture properly but you understandably chose to leave someone to their own devices in the hope clarity on their part would arrive like sunlight through a window. It hasn’t. Not yet, anyway. You-know-who needs some steering or guidance. Find it within you to provide both and you’ll bring an end to a drama.
July 23 – August 22
It’s amazing what theatre and film set creators can do with paper, plasterboard and wood. They create what looks from a distance very realistic heavy stone or solid steel walls. But, they know their creations will be viewed from a distance and not up close, so there are limits to how realistic they need to be. That still doesn’t stop us from believing them to be as solid as they appear. In your world now, a situation is giving the impression of being stone or steel-like, and immovable. Take a closer look. With less effort than you believe is needed, you can push your way through it.
August 21 – September 22
Much in life relies on appearance. None of us would consider entering a restaurant that hadn’t had some effort made to reassure us of its cleanliness. Neither would we consider willingly allowing ourselves to be part of a dangerous or tense situation if we weren’t reassured of our safety. In a similar way, you need to look now at a level of magic you’re keeping at bay through not making it attractive enough to enter. You’re giving it reason to remain detached, as much as it wants to make its way to you now. All it’s looking for is a sign of reassurance that you want it.
September 23 – October 23
Smile, and the world smiles back. Laugh, and the world laughs with us. How easy is it for you to summon a smile now, let alone laughter? Might you be doing something that contradicts in the minds of certain others how you ought to be feeling? What some might see as a dramatic or no laughing matter, there is much you can do to improve an unfunny situation. This simply involves you smiling. If the smile can become laughter, then even better. You are able now to break tension in ways it needs doing.
October 24 – November 21
You can’t do that. Don’t do that. Stop doing that. Such words are those we grew up with said to us mainly by parents or teachers. We clearly believed what we were doing was fine but it soon became obvious it wasn’t. Does such restriction leave us when we’re older? Unfortunately, it doesn’t. We still find ourselves being told what we’re doing is wrong or inappropriate by those who believe they can say such things. One or two people might make it clear they disapprove of something you’re doing now but are you harming anyone? No, you’re not. Enjoy it.
November 22 – December 21
Might it be easier to simply hold your hand up and admit you were wrong? Would this do much to placate someone who clearly believes you have missed a crucial point and ought to be taking more notice of what they’ve been trying to tell you? Something felt right or justified to you but it appears a certain person has a bee in their bonnet about how you have wronged in some way. So, hold your hand up and admit they have a point. Once you do that, you will be able to hold your head up in a way that suits you.
December 22 – January 19
Before we make one decision, we need to have made another, somewhere along the line. We assess one situation before we can make an assessment of another. It’s fascinating how much our assessment of one situation influences another, especially if we drew an inaccurate conclusion previously. You need to do some backtracking now. You need to return to a point in the past where you formed a particular opinion or arrived at a certain conclusion because where you go from here – and into the future – depends on you changing a set-in-stone attitude.
January 20 – February 18
Walking away from an issue is a possible option but you know the issue will not go away as easily. It will not fade into obscurity or be forgotten quickly. It intends to follow you because it demands your attention and, once you give your attention, it will progress in some way. What has largely been a stalemate scenario for some time is now shifting but for it to do so, it needs you to take it a bit more seriously than you have of late. Face what needs facing. Rise to a certain challenge that involves putting an aspect of your past behind you.
February 19 – March 20
Release what needs releasing. Abandon what needs abandoning. Forget what deserves to be forgotten, but be willing to learn from it. That’s the message from the sky now and as 2015 gets underway properly, you appear to be carrying much in the way of emotional baggage from 2014 and understandably believe yourself obliged to carry it. Soon, you will see how what has preoccupied your mind throughout much of last year is becoming increasingly irrelevant. It is time to move on and a very clear, positive and encouraging reason to do so is presenting itself.

Moon Sign Compatibility

When it comes to finding love, look to the Moon

Tarotcom Staff Tarotcom Staff on the topics of moon, love, astrology

When it comes to love, your Moon sign can help you meet your perfect match! After all, the Moon represents your true  emotional  side and the way you react to others in your relationships.

Your Moon sign is determined by the presence of the  Moon  in a particular zodiac sign at the time of your birth.

Astrology’s four elements (Earth, Fire, Water, Air) greatly help to determine your  Moon sign  compatibility, as the qualities within each element help  define the  person you are today and what you may be looking for in a  partner.

Moon in Aries

For you, it’s  all about “cut to the chase.” Quick-thinking and  straight-to-the-point,  you exude confidence while taking an active  stance in almost any  situation — Aries is a pure Fire sign  through-and-through! According  to Moon Astrology, you are your closest  match! Yes, a fellow Aries  would suit you well, as the two of you could  find romance while  playfully competing with one another. Bold and  strong-minded Fire sign  Leo also makes a match, while more sensitive  Moon signs Cancer or  Scorpio, do not.

Moon in Taurus

Taurus is known  for its stubborn nature, making it difficult to cut  through your  strong-will … especially in romance. But beyond that,  there’s a lover  of luxury and comfort (love goddess Venus rules over  you, after all).  If you can find another Taurus who shares in your  indulgences, that  would be great (and fun, too!) — but you could also  butt heads where  it really counts. Those with precise Virgo and  Capricorn Moons would be  a match — but a Libra Moon would find it most  difficult to carry on  its diplomacy through your more bullish  tendencies.

Moon in Gemini

Chatty Gemini  Moons are always moving from place to place, love interest  to love  interest! Your ruling planet — communicative Mercury — would  find  much fulfillment in Air signs Aquarius or Libra, feeding into your   desire to talk up a storm about high-minded topics at almost any given   moment. The more serious Capricorn or Scorpio Moon signs may pose a  challenge, and while dating a Pisces could be nice, both your flirty and   flighty similarities may equal just a fling.

Moon in Cancer

The Moon rules  over Cancer, making you one of (if not the most)  emotionally-charged  signs. Tapping into your feelings and the feelings  of those around you  is second nature, and so dating a fellow Cancer  Moon would create a  lifetime of a very nurturing, caring partnership.  Dreamy Pisces and  more inward Scorpio also makes a match, while brazen  Leo – even with  its brazen approach to self-expression — may prove too  much to  emotionally bear.

Moon in Leo

Your Fire sign is  also ruled by the Sun — the perfect recipe for one  self-assured Moon  sign! You want to be a leader, you want to make the  most out of any  given opportunity and you want your partner to take note  and appreciate  your strengths. An action-oriented Aries and optimistic  Sagittarius  make ideal partners who have enough confidence themselves to  keep up  with you, while stubborn Taurus or protective Scorpio do not  make the  best match.

Moon in Virgo

With  communication planet Mercury ruling over your Moon sign, you are   constantly critiquing and analyzing almost every situation and   conversation, and you love perfection — this desire for clean and   clear-cut may carry over in your relationships especially. A fellow Virgo or down-to-business Capricorn make good matches for you, while you may struggle with an Aquarius or Sagittarius Moon’s more light-hearted  and free-flowing approach to life and love.

Moon in Libra

Fair and balanced is your biggest relationship rule, as you are always  the diplomatic  lover, ruled by love goddess Venus. Aquarius and Gemini  Moons would  appreciate your harmonious requirements, still keeping with  your airy  and creative mentality. Aries, on the other hand, would not be   compatible with you, as the strong survival instincts of the Aries Moon   may find either of your running away in the face difficult times.

Moon in Scorpio

Deep and private  by nature, the Scorpio Moon is a motivated Moon with a  knack for sussing out information and details taking place under the  surface.  Your partner should think twice before pulling one over on you!  An  intimate Taurus or intelligent Virgo Moon would make a good match, appreciating and reciprocating your drive and desire, while an  independent Aquarius Moon may not appreciate your often suspicious ways.

Moon in Sagittarius

You love to  find joy, pleasure and enthusiasm in all of your endeavors,  and you  truly put your faith into matters of the heart. An open-minded  Gemini  or Aquarius Moon would suit your optimistic outlook in  relationships,  but an overly sensitive Cancer or stubborn Taurus Moon  could simply  bring you down.

Moon in Capricorn

Always  climbing, always reaching and always striving for the best … as  strict  Saturn rules over your Capricorn Moon, a more serious Taurus or  Virgo  Moon could understand and entertain your need to master your  endeavors.  At the same time, you may also appreciate a Cancer Moon’s  more  nurturing take on a disciplined home life. However, a Libra Moon  may pressure you to too much to come down from your mountain and meet in  the middle.

Moon in Aquarius

You are  calm, cool and collected — and you know how to handle  situations both  independently and by working together for a common  cause. A more  spontaneous and courageous Leo Moon could serve you well  by boosting  your strengths and supporting your individuality, while a  stubborn  Taurus or impatient Aries may not make the best match as you  continue  on your own personal search for revolution.

Moon in Pisces

Since you’re a  big dreamer and gentle by nature, the Pisces Moon will  not fare well  with another Moon sign as submissive and docile as you —  that rules  out a Sagittarius or Libra Moon. However, an intense Scorpio  or  efficient Virgo could be just the sign to snap you out of your dreams   and visions and bring you back to reality.
