Daily Feng Shui News for Dec. 17th – ‘Heed the time limit, five colors blind’

‘Heed the time limit, five colors blind’ is a traditional Chinese saying that means that too much of anything, no matter how good or pleasurable, can eventually have a numbing and exhausting effect. So the premise here is not to put decorations up too early and to use images of water and wintry scenes to cool the environment. This will create more harmony and balance — gifts we all want to receive at this holiday time of year.

Daily Feng Shui News for Dec. 14th – “Monkey Day’

Yesterday’s energies were dedicated to what Feng Shui has to say about using a symbol of a horse in your home. So it makes sense that today would continue and combine that theme by celebrating ‘Monkey Day.’ This philosophy says that displaying a monkey on a horse in the ‘Fame’ area (back center or middle of the living space) can help you move more swiftly than your competitors. It also promises to bring extra income and prosperity, and an elevation in prominence and prestige. I wouldn’t monkey around with this cure. I happen to know that it really does work.

After a long, hard day of work and then running around doing holiday shopping, there’s nothing better than taking a nice long soak. Daily Feng Shui News for Nov. 26th – ‘Tie One On Day’

It’s the start of the holiday season, so we’re bound to have a day called ‘Tie One On Day.’ But if you want to make sure that you don’t suffer too badly for potentially overindulging, then be sure to eat almonds before you imbibe. Ancient traditions tell that eating five almonds before enjoying a cocktail or two will not only keep you from pouring with a free hand but will also keep a hangover at bay. Believe me, it’s not nuts.
