You’re going to be glad you read this tip today, because I’ve got all the buzz. It’s ‘World Honey Bee Day’ and I’d like to share an all-natural way to both control your weight and melt fat away. Simply put one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and two tablespoons of honey in a glass of unsweetened grapefruit juice. Always check with a qualified professional to be sure that the juice won’t interact with any other medications that you might be currently taking. Blend all ingredients well and drink a half an hour before each meal. I told you I had the skinny on weight loss!

Daily Feng Shui Tip for Aug. 8th – “Wealth”

Today is the eighth day of August, a date that’s most auspicious in Feng Shui. In fact, this philosophy considers the number eight to be a money or wealth number. That’s why Feng Shui masters will often recommend placing an infinity symbol (the number eight lying on its side) in the ‘Wealth’ area of your living space. That area is located at the back left-hand corner of the main floor or bedroom and can be activated to attract abundance when the power of the number eight is invoked.

Daily Feng Shui News for Aug. 7th – ‘National Lighthouse Day’

On let’s take a look at some of the most important lights in your own house. Both the inside and outside front entryway lights, when turned on for at least three hours straight, are believed to attract fortune, luck and opportunity into your life. That bulb should be the highest wattage you can find and also turned on for at least three hours straight when you feel stuck and want to get your energies moving. Turn the good energies up with a simple flip of the switch and make your ‘lighthouse’ illuminate and attract good things to you.

Daily Feng Shui News for Aug. 5th – ‘Work Like A Dog Day’

It’s ‘Work Like A Dog Day,’ but if you’re feeling like your job is a little too ruff without enough recognition and rewards, it may be time to take a look at your ‘Fame’ area. Located in the back center or middle of your main living space, the ‘Fame’ area is associated with the fire element and the color red. Therefore, Feng Shui 101 says that lighting nine red candles anywhere inside this space, even for just a minute, will bring your hard work to the attention of the right people while also attracting the accolades you so justly deserve.

On ‘National Kids Day’ I want to share a fun and functional Feng Shui fact. The energy (and mood) of children goes where their eyes go, so always try to have something attractive and interesting hanging from their bedroom ceiling. It will catch their attention, pull their focus up towards heaven and bring an immediate boost to their spirit.

Daily Feng Shui News for August 1 – “Lammas”

According to ancient Celtic calendars, today is called Lammas, or August Eve. The first of the harvest celebrations, it’s also when those cultures perform rituals of protection and hope. If you would like to bring a symbol of hope into your own life, simply draw the shape of a star on a plain piece of paper and color it green. This shape and color are symbols of hope that will attract more things to be hopeful about into your life.
