Still a popular event, the Korean Rice Festival ensures an abundant rice harvest. The custom of washing one’s hair in a stream on this day is believed to dispel bad luck and ward off evil. The traditional meal for this festival is one of fresh fish, steamed rice, and greens.
It’s a holiday weekend and we are lazier than, I don’t know. I believe we take the cake on being lazy, lol! I knocked on Lady A’s cottage this morning and couldn’t get an answer. Hollered to say hello to the men out in the field and they gave me a hello wave like they were brushing me off. Spring Star Power Spell
You will need:
2 teaspoons of black tea
1 pinch of rosemary
2 teaspoons of black tea
5 pinches thyme
5 fresh mint leaves
6 fresh rose petals
1 Cinnamon stick
5 pinches nutmeg
6 lemon leaves
3 cups pure spring water
Honey
Instructions:
Add all the ingredients to a cauldron/ saucepan and bring to the boil.
Before drinking the tea recite the following:
I have brewed this tea,
In the hope that my love
will desire me.
Eating this herb will help clear sinuses. that’s why you feel better after
eating spicy Asian foods when you have a cold. The cayenne helps, too. You can eat it raw or cooked. You can slice it into pill-sized wedges and swallow them with juice or tea as if they were pills. Garlic is also excellent for clearing up itchy vaginal infections. Depending on how sore you are, you can peel one (be sure not to nick it) and use it directly as a suppository, or you can wrap it in cheese cloth to prevent direct contact with sore tissues. What better time than ‘Lips Appreciation Day’ to share how to make a homemade scrub that will leave your lips feeling kissably smooth and soft? A lip scrub is a gentle exfoliate that softens dry, chapped or peeling lips — all with ingredients from the kitchen pantry. Warm one teaspoon of honey in the microwave for five seconds. Stir in one teaspoon of olive oil, two teaspoons granulated brown sugar and one drop of fresh lemon juice and mix together. Apply the scrub to your lips using gentle, circular motions and wipe it off with a damp washcloth or cotton ball. Finish by applying a lip moisturizer or balm and be off with your bad and kissable self!

Hey guys & gals! What’s up? I would have been here sooner but hey, it’s Saturday. Do I need to say more, lol! To me every day is Saturday! I have did everything in the book this morning. Made a new topper for the site, making another pot of coffee, wrestled with Razzie and I believe washed some dishes. Stinker and Kiki are all nappy and it is driving Razzie crazy and she is driving me crazy. I opened the front door for her that occupied her for about 5 minutes. Then she came in her and hopped up on my desk, loved the computer, loved me and tried to lay down on the keyboard. I guess she was going to blog today. It might have been more interesting, lol!
Well I guess I will get my little hinny busy, but I am going to run and get a cup of coffee, OK? Ok! I knew you would agree, lol! Just as soon as I get that coffee, I will start to work. You have a super great day and we will see you tomorrow.
