A Spell to Break the Powers of a Spell

A Spell to Break the Powers of a Spell

If you believe that a spell has been cast against you, place a large black candle in the cauldron (or a large black bowl). The candles must be tall enough to extend a few inches above the cauldron’s rim. Affix the candle to the bottom of the cauldron with warmed beeswax or the drippings of another black candle so that it will not tip over.

Fill the cauldron to the rim with fresh water, without wetting the candle’s wick. An inch or two should remain above the water. Deeply breathe, meditate, clear your mind and light the candle. Visualize the suspected spell’s power as residing within the candle’s flame. Sit in quiet contemplation of the candle and visualize the power flowing and growing within the candle’s flame. (Yes, the power against you) As the candle burns down, it’s flame will eventually sputter and go out as it contacts the water. As soon as the flame has been extinguished by the water, the spell will be dispersed. Break your visualization of the spell’s power; see it explode into dust, becoming impotent.

Pour the water into a hole in the ground, a lake or stream. Bury the candle. It is done.

Breaking A Curse

Breaking A Curse

On the first night of the waxing moon, gather the following ingredients:

a square of black cloth a little larger than your hand.

1 tablespoon of curry

1 tablespoon of dill

1 tablespoon of vervain

1 tablespoon powdered ginger

1 consecrated black candle

paper and black ink pen

1 black string, knotted nine times

On paper, write the full name and birthdate (if known) of the person who has cursed you. Place the paper in the center of the bag. One at a time, add the herbs, covering the slip of paper. Next, take the lit candle and drip 5-10 drops of wax over the paper and herbs.

Visualize the person who has cursed you and say their name aloud three times while tying the bag shut with the knotted string. The final step is to bury the bag someplace on the property of the person who cursed you. The bag must remain there undisturbed until the next waxing moon. At that time, dig up the bag and burn the contents. This will weaken that person’s power (usually until the night of the full moon) and the curse should then be broken.

Break Free

Break Free

If you’re caught between what you feel is right and what others tell you to be or do, try this spell to find the strength within to break free.

On a New or Full Moon, gather the ingredients below and go to a place where you can be undisturbed for at least 30 minutes.

Ingredients:

Some object or material that is tangled and/or weaved into many complex patterns, or resembling a cobweb

Scissors

Cast your circle and center yourself. Take the mangled object you’ve chosen and meditate on the complex patterns and jumbled look of the form. Say this:

“Tangled and twisted,

My mind and my life

With connections to all I see.

I now break free from those that aren’t right,

And replace the holes that there be.

I change the bad and replace with good,

And mend and heal and spin,

With the help of the weaver of the web of life,

I escape and am now set free”.

While saying the above, cut the mangled object apart, imagining the situation breaking free from the negative influences that affect your judgement and life. Either bury or burn the negative energies.

Break a Spell

Break a Spell

Sometimes, something goes wrong with a spell, and you need to reverse the effects. The following spell will break a spell gone awry. Your magickal items/tools should include anything representing protection, balance, centering, and perhaps an object from the original spell. Be sure to cast your circle properly before practicing any magick ritual.

“On the Eve of (date). I cast a spell,

The effects I created, I now must quell,

Specifically (State intention)

May this spell be lifted, and I now be gifted

With (State what it should be).”

TO BREAK A JINX

TO BREAK A JINX

Fill your bath at night and open the window so that the moon’s rays will Come in and fall on you while you bathe. Put Myrtle leaves, Elderberries, Gentian, and Orange flowers into the bath. Wash yourself completely in the solution, and say the following out loud:

Oh as I declare,

Cleaning and despair,

I call on you, Oh Goddess of the moon,

Clean me and remove all despair,

As I worship you.”

Do this at least three nights in a row, and all jinxes or hexes will be removed. To make it stronger, as you dry yourself off with a fresh towel, stand in the moon’s rays and repeat this chant:

“If you believe it, it shall be.”

Lady A’s Spell of the Day for March 3rd – The Burning Coffin Spell

7rf%20W%2013

The Burning Coffin Spell

The burning coffin spell is essentially good when you are coming to the end of a major event in your life and need to let go of the emotional baggage that the cycle or trauma has left you with. While this spell can provide you with closure, it will not work if you aren’t absolutely certain that you are ready to let go of the negative “stuff” you are carrying.

You will need:

1 large sheet of white paper

a ruler

a black marker

a red pen

a heat-proof container, stainless steel or ceramic

Excalibur Oil

scratch paper

matches

Using the ruler, draw the shape of a coffin onto the large sheet of white paper. Set it aside. Now on the scratch paper, list those things in your life that you want to get rid of-those traits or qualities you don’t like in yourself; those energies that aren’t any good for you anymore; relationships you’re ready to let go of. Think carefully as you decide what energies to dismiss, you don’t want to let go of something before it’s time. Once you have completed your list, use the red pen to write each thing to be released in the middle of the outline of the coffin. When you’ve finished, take the black marker and color in the coffin, so you can’t see your words. Visualize closing the lid on these things in your life. Now, annoint the coffin with the oil and let dry. Destroy your scratch paper list-you can tear it up and throw it away. When the coffin is dry, place it in the heat-proof bowl (which should be large enough to contain the flames of the burning paper0

Say:

You have been a part of my life. I now release you back into the Universe

To be changed and transformed, Forever seperated from me,

I bid you go, leave my life and don’t Come back.

You are dead to me. So Mote It Be!

Now light the paper on fire and watch the coffin containing all of the unwanted energies burn away into ashes. Either flush the ashes away using running water or take them, once they are cold, away from your home and bury them deep in the ground. You can also sprinkle them in the ocean when the tide is going out. If you are on a septic system, do not flush these ashes into it. it will be difficult to remove the negativity if it is still lingering in your water system.

Excalibur Oil

1/4 ounce almond oil

15 drops lemon oil

9 drops orange oil

4 drops thyme oil

2 drops ginger oil

5 drops rose geranium oil

1 drop cinnamon oil

14 drops lavendar oil

flower: thyme

gem: clear quartz

Add a few pieces of the herb and a crystal chip to the vial of oil. These ingredients help to add energy and help the oils blend when I shake them. After mixing your blend, raise energy and charge the oil with your intent.
