I have been with the WOTC for about 4 months now. I started out as a guest writer. Now I have went to helping Lady A out when she needs to take a day off to do something. I am not brown-nosing here but I must say I truly admire Lady Abyss. She is dedicated to each day of getting up and getting this blog done. That is her first priority, everyday. She is more dedicated than me and a much better person.
You don’t realize what kind of working conditions we have here. You know the WOTC bought a small house and started its office out of it. Well the A/C has been out all Summer. Apparently there is no hope in getting it fixed. The whole thing has to be replaced. You know Lady Abyss has a heat stroke in this house. If you are familiar with Heat Strokes at all, you know the do’s and don’ts after you had one. The heat stroke hasn’t stopped her. I have seen days were she has sit in the office, putting out the blog with sweat dripping from her nose. Sweat running down her forehead and the towel she is using is soaked. Her clothes are wringing wet from the heat. We have put four fans in there to keep her from dropping again. But I look for it to happen at anytime.
We all work and gather information to put on this blog. It is a daily occurrence, we work, we gather, we search, all for you to have something to read. Now don’t get me wrong, this is not a pity post at all. But a “WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS BLOG” post?
I am very serious. I want to know. What the hell is wrong with this blog? We work out butts off, we sweat our butts off, we hunt, dig, research and dedicate at least five hours a day to this blog. But I go and look at the number of followers we have and we are stuck at 68? . After this we probably won’t have any and I will really catch it from Lady Abyss. But we have changed the template, kept it current. Changed the format, to were we offered News and other items. Now we are back to strictly Witchcraft. We still can’t get to the 700 mark. I would like to know why? What are we doing wrong?
One day I look, we have one follower that has left. The next day, I look we have had five leave. It has to be something we aren’t doing or something we are not offering. Please, what is it? I know all the blood, sweat and tears we have put into this blog, we would like to eventually reach 700 followers. I am open to suggestions and I will gladly pass them on to the others. What are we doing wrong? Why can’t we get more followers?
